Hi guys,
So i ended up in 0.0 and want to run a ratting and plexing ship (preferable the legion or tengu) but can these solo the DED plexes? and if so could you link me a fit or something. been looking myself to make a fit but i feel like 400ish DPS HAM legion wont do? |

Ham legion is the best between legion and tengu, because its the only viable damage profile, but you wont have enough dps. Drones boat should do it more easily (gila, for example) or mach, because its a mach. |

If you're in friendly space grab a buddy. I fly a Torp fit CNR hitting for 1250 dps on BC and BS rats while he pops those little cruisers and frigs. Or you can grab any marauder and they can easily solo complexes. |

Laser boats won't help against Angel rats very much. Missile boats have dmg selection so a CNR or Golem may be what you're looking for. I recommend training Minmatar and/or drones if those ships don't quite cut it for you. |

lolno. Angels are 2nd weakest to kinetic. Tengu has a bonus to kinetic. Tengu is excellent in most situations and these angel plexes are no exception, unless for some reason you are only getting 350 raw dps or something. I won't comment on the HAM legion, it should probably work but the stasis towers will make you a sad panda.
Angels have no 6/10, they have a unrated plex with a guaranteed escalation that drops similar loot. Beware the neutralizer sentry III's in part 2.
machariel/cnr/golem will of course work but they're not necessary for soloing or clearing the site quickly. Some first-hand PI tips |

I'm not going to post my own fit, I don't think it would be that helpful to you. It mostly depends on what kind of shield booster you want to use, how much you want to spend, and how much your prioritize dps, burst tanking, capacitor, and frig-hitting-ability. Here is an example of nearly fully t2 fit that should be able to clear the angel 5/10 and 7/10 with no problems.
[Tengu, cookie cutter angel] Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Damage Control II
Medium Shield Booster II 10MN Afterburner II Pith A-Type Explosive Deflection Field (can use t2 ofc but these are <30 mil) Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Shield Boost Amplifier II (if you can't use t2 use a different mod. don't throw down on a faction SBA unless you've already got a nice shield booster)
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile 70km range!
Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst I (absolutely t2 this) Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I (t2 this) Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - CPU Efficiency Gate Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
with lvl 5's and no implants this basic cheap fit does 601 dps, which is way more than enough to kill top-tier npc battleships at a good pace. Most people elect to drop a few hundred mil for some nice fittings, getting a much stronger as well as more sustainable tank, more dps, and using less cpu allowing a switch to the dissolution sequencer. The only weakness is with a t2 medium booster, your burst tank is kind of low and you rely a bit more on your speed to reduce your damage, but that's what overloading is for (plus you can 1-shot any stasis tower within your lock range). Then again, if you spend a little bit of isk you can also get do all this with a mwd and the agility subsystem, which is nice for lowsec work. Some first-hand PI tips |
