Am I the only one who refrain from using it in low sec because of losing 4 days worth of skill points when you get blown up? |

Based on the mix of ships I normally see in lowsec: yes, you're the only one. |

This, basically.
Plus, y'know, if you think you'll lose it, why are you even flying it? Surely you should, by the time you can even think about going NEAR lowsec, know what the frak you're doing in the thing?
Personally, I consider anything that leaves highsec as already lost. Clones, ships, whatever. |

Just last night I started a trek into the Great Wildlands in a cloaky Loki to see the sites. Few ships are so versatile and relatively safe as an evasively fit T3.
And really: what's 4 days of training in the long run? |

Don't fly anything else than a frigate in low sec, it's not worth the effort unless you're in a gang and quite enough to do a lot of stuff around there. *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |

Certain types of ships are beacons in the dark of low sec. I only use my booster Loki in low/null when I can get away with using a cloak, or have a ECCM fit and a head full of Jackals to minimize my siggy. ISK-cost isn't that big these days on a T3, and 4 days of retraining when my T3 drivers average skills are 28+ days really is insignificant.
I don't take my T3's into low just to fly around. There are much better choices (for me, anyway) that are better for what I usually do in low. "Blow it all on Quafe and strippers." --- Sorlac |

If you are afraid to fly a T3 in lowsec it probably means you are new to EVE. Let me know if you need any low sec escort with Freighter's or transporting expensive things. |

Or better yet he could escort the T3 with a freighter transporting expensive things. I bet everyone is so busy shooting the freighter his T3 gets away unscathed.... |

I may drunkenly re-process a ship, so the minute it enters my hangar... it's lost. |

In FW space or no?
In FW space I've seen T3's once in awhile.
Out of FW space while doing some belt ratting, going by d-scan, it seemed every other ship was a T-3. |

I see T3's... everywhere. 90% of Wspace fleets are armor T3's, low sec I see T3's all over, buffer legions and proteus, 100mn tengus. Null sec, armor gangs with lokis, proteus, legion. If you have any respectable amount of isk, a T3 is the way to go. |

Four days of skill training loss isnt much. Besides I hear that you can avoid that if you eject just before your T3 goes boom. If you dont have much experience from low or 0.0 then just buy some cheap cruiser and fly around with it to learn how to survive in there. Losing T1 cruiser is nothing and you will get valuable info how to do better next time. When you confy enough then take your T3 for test drive.
I see no point having T3 just for High Sec. |
