How do your make contact with new agents? Do you have to wait until your current agent recommends u or can u go looking for other ones that match your level?
Its just because I have been landed with an agent with a rating of Abysmal (-18%) and I want to find a better 1.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it... |

I actually have come across several agents just through travelling. So you do not have to wait on one agent, not sure what the chance of finding them is, but you can find some.

An easy way to find agents is to click "info" on the NPC corporations. The far right tab is agent info, and lists all of that corporations agents. From there, you can find what system/station all their level 1 agents are at. I believe most of them accept clients at dock (lev 1) but you can click info on them just to make sure.

I have seven L1 agents, half of them i got in systems missions sent me. My best is +19% and is the one i am using, though have several like you do in the negatives.
Once you get your L1 agent happy enough by doing missions, you should get a L2 one.
I am still working for my L1 agent but after 32 missions I think i am close, the left slider at top of agent info is almost maxed. )

After playing Eve for months i finally decided to try to missions, after 3 hours play and 20 missions i got a level 2 agent..so should take too long

I been doing missions for a Awesome (+13%) level 1 agent and around 23 missions for that agent I got another level 1 that can be bribed and can fix my sec rating.
Yesterday after completing my 36th mission for her I was contacted by a Awesome (+18%) level 2 agent.

I think it also depends HOW large the corp is, for whome you are doing Missions ...
so I needed about 100+ Missions for a Level 2 Agent and now have made around an additional 200 for my Level 2 Agents (have 5) but no Level 3 Agent showed up, because Hyashoda has 64 Agents :-(
So I think if you want faster higher Level Agents pick a small corp. and have luck
