I don't have much, but the gesture alone should speak for itself.
I'm adding 1 Million ISK to this bounty as a gesture of good will. May the the Caldari State and Gallente Federation remain on good terms and carry on with positive Diplomatic Relations.

Thank you both for your support. For Caldari, regardless of your position, actions like this cannot be tolerated. And as Alexis has illustrated, it is unacceptable even to other Gallente. The only possible purpose of these purchases is to encourage tension and further hostility.

Do not be so certain about that, I know of ways to get good money out amarr and ammatar sigs. It might just had been another buisness opportunity for him.

I was, perhaps, incorrect in assuming that this is his goal. It is the result though, not the intent that matters. Caldari tags maen Caldari Navy ships downed. That he is buying them encourages attacks on Caldari Naval Vessels.

But it will certainly have that effect. Mercenaries will target Caldari Naval vessels and kill crew to get the tags.
I agree with the Gallentean's sentiments. If traders don't pour over the border, navies will.

Since he is also purchasing small arms, my guess would be that he is going to have a group of people impersonating Caldari officers and causing violence.
Watch the news for heinous crimes being blamed on Caldari officers. I bet we'll be seeing something soon.

I hope you are aware that these tags mostly come from Caldari pilots who are trespassing the borders into Gallente space trying to set up an invasion force within our borders?
Some hours ago I had to down at least 10 Caldari vessels who were protecting a convoy with marines in Oursulaert. Useless to say that I was attacked totally unprovoked.
So please tell your government to stop sending troops deep into Gallente territory and stop them from these kamikaze attacks. If you succeed in this there will be no more Caldari dog tags on the market....

It is well known that the Caldari and Gallente navies regualrly intrude on eachother's space. I had to disuade some 30 Gallente captains from visiting again any time soon just 3 days ago. However actively buying tags effectively puts a price on the head of every captain of the Caldari Navy, wherever they are.
I am not questioning the right of countries to defend their territory agaisnt outside naval ships. I am questioning the right of a citizen of an empire, or Federation, to put what is effectively a bounty on naval officer's heads. I am just turing the tables on this fellow to discourage it.

It should be additonally noted that not all of the dog tags being sold to this 'gentlemen' were acquired in a manner that involved the legal defense of Gallente Space. With such a 'price' on Caldari pilot's officer's, so to speak, it can only be assumed that a number of mercenaries will want to 'cash in' on said price. While I myself have had to deal with illegal incursions into Gallente Space, I don't relish the idea of having to deal with them. We should be thinking about hands across the border, not guns and dog tags. I'd like to believe this bounty is a step in the right direction.
I'd also like to note that Jevako Niedboux also appears to be working for a rather influential client. Though the possibilities are many, it should be considered that individuals such as the infamous 'Broker' would surely benefit from any level of Caldari-Gallente conflict. Said individual is NOT above inciting a war for his own profit.

While I in no way support the sale of Navy dogtags on the open market for the various aforementioned reasons, perhaps it's a bit hasty in stamping a massive bounty for the death of this individual. If he is indeed part of a larger terrorist unit with intentions of disrupting the tentative peace between our two societies, I would reccommend his capture instead so that further information may be gleaned from his interrogation.
Just a suggestion.

A good suggestion. However, as this is directed at pod pilots, and they have a notoriously difficult time capturing people....
Anyway, if the perpetrator will turn himself over to Caldari authorities and make a public apology, I will certainly withdraw my part of the bounty.

This intelligent enterpreneur should be commended. Indeed I can provide him with a great amount of tags including more than 50 Caldari Vice Admirals and countless captains of all ranks (I-V). Moreover to lighten his mood I ll throw in the deal a number of corpses from Gilead's Bullet that have proven utterly inedible
