Yes with max skills, which many players now have. The thorax piolt has to get the first shots in though. Thats what makes the big difrence. If the HAc is already into armor by the time he finishes locking and opens up you have won.
(unless the HAc has 90% Ken/Therm res, then ur screwed)

Yes, Devvon had recently encounter with a Deimos, to pretty much that effect.

Dev's the bleeding edge. Balancing the Thorax for him is like balancing the Tarranis for Marco (or, well, the Claw for me). NOT a good idea. My particular Munnin setup would likely beat the heck out of a Thorax, but I can see how other setups would be vulnrable.

Well, i brought that link mainly since i figured Devvon deserves all the recognition for both the kill and the post ^^
Hopefully that won't be used as a nerf argument, since if it was all based on anectodal evidence then a Crow would be in for immediate boost, and Badger along with Ibis on their way to nerf -.^

As a zealot pilot i'd think a thorax with a tracking disruptor orbiting at 500 meters could kill a Zealot.

I realy don't see how this munin lost to your demios. very strange. i don;t see why he had 2 pdu II and 1 rcu II must have been for a plate somewere. but still 1 rcu II is enaugh so why the other pdu II. very stupid setup tbh. the guy deserved to die. yea i ren from a thorax once with my munin as he was geting close and i had only 720 II and no defnse. Death

the thorax had a wingman shooting missiles at it. So its not 1vs1. If you look closely the thorax was losing Armor much faster than the Deimos before the wingman started shooting (maybe even target disrupt at the end? )
