/me points you and every other guy thinking of starting yet another thread on the subject in a forum that's not meant for them to oen of the other countless thread started by guys like you in this forum that is not meant for them in which was pointed out that TomB already announced that they will be in in a soon to be released patch containing stuff like that that will hopefully put an end to the countless repeptitive posts about this subject posted by guys like you in this forum that is not meant for it.

I think whining for something every other weapon class has had for a year now is pretty justified imo. ------

I'm not whining about the "missile nerf", that's why it has "".
The only thing i find anoying to say the least is that gun players get stuff all the time and always before missile users.
When you release PVP stuff do it balanced and all AT THE SAME TIME.
Perhaps missile calculations and coding take longer but hold the other stuff until you can release at the same time.
BTW with the right skills (already released), modules and implants i COULDN'T call this a missile nerf, but if devs don't release at the same time as guns... then i have the right to call it just that.

Related to Roleplay why the hell does the most advanced technological race next to the Jovian release stuff so late?
And to be honest i try to put some roleplay on my gameplay if you see C4 Tech description and my bio. This is not some kid whining about missiles and damage PWNAGE (I WANT TO OWN ALL KIND OF STUFF). ok Verone???

One thing that never sat right by me is the missing faction missiles and the missile/launcer related hw implants.
Hopefully this will be solved aswell when the t2 bcu comes in.

The reason these items are missiong is because missiles were overpowered and were waiting for a rebalance, now that the rebalance has been implemented odds are that they are waiting to see if they are happy with the missile rebalance and if they need any other changes before adding in new missile mods and implants.

In fairness, winterblink, they ARE missing. They're not in the game and they should be. That much is evident by the fact that they are planned to be put in.

Had the subject been the driving force behind the thread, I'm betting you'd see less responses about the OP whining. Anyway, far be it for me to try to point people down the path of constructive posting, it's obvious that it falls on deaf ears.

I can see why you might say that but the two subjects seem to run hand in hand to me. Missiles are balanced againt turrets but their maximum potential is underpowered because of the lack of these modules. It's only natural to mention that they are not balanced and in-line with turrets without them.
Think of it more like this. A lot of players tend to make two-line posts. This guy just put one of the lines in as the subject line, nothing more.

Well, the 'geddons running around and frying everyone with the megapulses didn't exactly stop them from releasing tech.2 heatsinks long before the pulse nerf, did it -.^

T2 Damage mods DEFINE PvP right now. They are absolutely crucial yet one type is missing. The users of that type are completely screwed in this way. What if it was heatsinks? What if it was gyrostabs? What if it was magstabs?
If they were released tommorow, it would still be months before they were readily affordable like other t2 mods are. It is punishing of missile users for the devs to take their freaking time with it. Every time a missile ship goes into a fight its at a major disadvantage in this regard. The implants are just icing on the cake.

You mean you would have preferred it if the missile changes would have been implemented together with the tracking changes to turrets over a year ago ? Just about half a year before T2 turret damage mods became generally available ?
Look, I agree, the mods need introducing, quickly. On the other hand, would they be introduced, you'll find me posting threads like these asking for a Raven rebalance right away since you cannot introduce the missile damage mods but not at the same time recheck the damage+tank ability of a Raven with torps, can you ?
Missiles are still not balanced, heavies could do with s little loving, torps combined with the raven could do with a little nerf against battleships (and maybe a bit of love against smaller ships, don't know about that).
In any case, the whole deal is obvuiously kept hanging by the fact that CCP hasn't got the time to reevaluate the whole post-change missile balance yet. So, just like with turrets, we wait...and wait. Get used to it, cause everyone else has.
(I have caldari BS 5 and cruise/torp 5 btw, love the raven, but its one sick puppy when it comes to balance).

Unless Im remembering wrong, which is a possibility that far back, that the gankageddon only realy came about after and because of the release of heatsink 2s and really before that megapulses werent seen as majorly overpowered.

How are torpedoes imbalanced against battleships? A fully ganked out Raven does way less DPS than a fully ganked out Armageddon, or Tempest, or Megathron..
And yes Heavys need love.. infact Caldari cruiser bonuses in general suck.

What the HELL is there to further evaluate? There are faction and officer ballistics which are way superior to the Tech2 in terms of fittings and stats, why are these items allowed to exist in game but T2 BCU does not? Give me a break. The only difference between a raven kitted for damage and an armageddon is the armageddons setup is way cheaper cause he's using market damage modules and the raven pilot has to fork out 100mil per bcu.. whatever.

Time since TomB last mentioned anything about these:
2 Months and 8 Days.
Time since Missile changes were implemented on TQ:
3 Months?
Time since Missile changes were implemented on Sisi:
5 Months?
Time since other weapon types tech 2 damage mods were released:
1 Year 6 Months?
This issue remains easily fixed and crucial to missile users' gameplay. WHAT THE **** is taking you so long CCP? Why aren't other missile users more upset over this?
