I'll soon be able to fly these and i'm wondering whoch one would be better for overll use.

I have both and recommend using the Retribution. I seldom use the Vengeance.
The retribution has 5 hi slots, 1 med slot, & 5 low slots. While the Vengeance has 4 hi, 3 med & 3 low. IMO the Retribution is the better ship even though it ony has the 1 med slot.

retribution. vengeance can be decent heavy tackler... have not really gotten what want out of it though.

Retribution is super, especially for PvE. People solo NPC BS spawns in those...

Yes we do 
Takes time though. A lots of time... 
Generally Vengeance is better for PvP and Retribution for PvE.

I've solo'd dual bs spawns in a retri, but it takes a helluvalong time to break their tank if you're fitted for tanking
Retri is awesome for PvP though, sooooo much damage output

Retrebution, purely because of its awesome damgage output. It only has one midslot which makes PvP abit difficult but if you have a wing buddy this ship can cause targets lots of pain

In groups, use retribution.. its tank and damageoutput is simply wack!
For lonewolf ops, use the vengance, its a serious heavy tackler, with some nice tanking power and a great damage ouput!
I would in most situations i would still use these over cruiser because of their speed/agility and so on.
