Bane went to gunner and explaned that some people wanted to leave TL and that he would like to take the name. He gave him time to talk it out and said things like "I do not want to be a ****" and "want to give you guys time to talk about it". The reply was to do a midnight vote to change ownership with an alt corp putting it over the top. This is also with MOST of the corps acually in the allaince not being on the on the councel and able to vote.

EA was asked to join polarized. We did not start this we where ask to come in. No one was paid.
You KNEW for 3 days that we where rolling in and did NOTHING until the last day. Then did not have any courdination with your Alliess when they did get in to help. THEN through a ***** fit at them for trying to help.
I know that nothign we say will change your mind. Arguments can legititmly made about eveictions vrs fights and so forth. Mabye your leadership should conduct themself in such a way that they do not annoy so many people to this lvl. |

Nobody twisted 1%'s arm. Nobody twisted R-NAT's arm. DDOWN industry was put in months before this happened. Who was discussing tin-foil again? I don't even need to bring up the name issue. Both Bane and yourself have shown that it's still a painful memory and really you should just let it go.
Of course, seems like you couldn't when Cipreh came on comms Monday evening asking for the name back.
We knew you were coming, we knew the names of your scouts. We dispatched at least one and had another in just a pod. We knew you were rage rolling to get in, and we kept sig watch and hole control for 3 days. We did not "do anything" if you are referring to batphoning because we don't run to friends at the first sign of trouble. Only with an unlucky roll did you get in, and it's actually hilarious irony how it happened.
Lastly, regarding TL leadership. EA leadership has held no qualms about hating on DJ. It's well known.

Sorry Bane, but for an alliance diplo AND recruiter your spiel is lacking. Firstly, you drew a wrong conclusion from the Hard Knocks invasion.. The reason so many people came to help out Hard Knocks during their invasion was because their single corp was being invaded by TWO alliances. Even in the final battle report it shows that HRDX fielded 44 pilots compared to 45 from NoHO and 33 from W-space. So yeah, no kidding, everyone likes the underdog and no one likes the bully.
Second, its funny that you are saying that "batphone is here to stay" as part of your defense when the second point of your very own statement is that YOU and your alliance was batphoned. Mister Al on EvE-ru is also stating that w-space was batphoned in anticipation of a batphone. Gee, I wonder why good fights are so difficult to come by when everyone is META gaming to the max while evicting a pvping group of players.
Thirdly, I can totally relate to your painful multi day rolling session so you can evict a group of players with whom you parted on poor terms. Yeah this whole thing was for good fights for sure  |

I never said that this was a long standing plot or that the alt corp was brought in for that porpose. I did say that Bane went with good intentions and got spit in the face. Which you have convinently keep on ignoring in your replys.

Like many of you mention, we aren't that loved by the other w-space alliances(why i still don't understand, but that is just me).
In fact you can state correctly that these badly stacked odds in it self was a bathphone to every other alliance.
At all times the odds were stacked against us, but still we fought. Even though we knew it was a turkey shoot.
And an other thing, after you got your "goodfight" you still did the structure grind... .
Can someone tell me what the goodfight is in shooting 9 POCO's and all our pos'es(10 or more, i never bothered to count)?
I can't seem to understand were the good fights are in that... .

The batphone wasn't picked up until you guys were physically in the Loveshack. We felt no need to. We figured by maintaining wormhole control for those few critical days, we'd have foiled your attempt at exploiting the holiday weekend. We asked around to see if anyone knew what your exact intentions were, but once we saw the killboard of Saturday's fight with Kill It With Fire, we knew. Still, no batphoning at all until you actually got in.
I think this topic has already become a bit of a dead horse, and these forums/subreddit posts are now only chock full of attempts at justification to validate that overwhelming sense of an empty victory on the aggressors side. |

i literally cannot believe I'm about to say this but ... I couldnt agree with ROSS more.
AHARM were asked to join this horrible blob fest too and personally I could not think of anything I wanted to do less then join in.
bottom line is no one here was interested in a fight.
the attackers came for an eviction and brought the numbers to ensure they would not get a good fight.
(the horrible blobbing they got to do was not a fight...)
on a personal level, TL ceased to exist when EA got created and I'm not particularly upset by this result though the execution frankly makes me sick. |

This isn't geared to any one person in general, but I find it amusing none the less. I hear a lot of people bitching about the massive blob fest this was, and how it wasn't fair,etc.. I also hear it coming from some of the same people who bitched about BITTEN. invading Arctic Light, which was more than an even match up looking at alliance numbers.

On the monday morning one of EA dirs convoed me and asked whether we want to help with TL. He said that TL itself is manageable but TL batphoned whatever it could and could not - it was known that ssc/voc/kill/hk are coming + rumors of aharm coming.
