What is the best Large hybrid turret and can it be fit to cruiser?
Just curious because i am now able to train large hybrid and wondering if i can fit it to my thorax or if large weapons are cruiser only?
I also will need to buy some good large hybrid guns if i can fit onto cruiser so what kind should i look for?

Just look at large turrets power grid requirements. If you stick a bunch a of Power plant control units in your thorax you may be able to equip some lame-ish short range hybrid. Its hardly worth it. Frankly people are saying that even bships are better off using medium turrets right now (dont know about that, havent used them myself)

Well, a 425 mm rail make about 11% more damage than a 250mm Gauss(=medium hybrid). The 425 mm has about 6km more in optimal range, but trackingspeed is 0.0018 vs 0.009 or something like that. The 250mm Gauss requires 280 powergrid, but the 425 mm requires 3750 powergrid!!!
If you also consider the big difference in cap usage, you should see that you don't want any large weapon...

... don't forget that, if you have some uber skills, you will be able to fit 4 large rails in a battleship at most, and some other usefull modules.
That seems like a joke... fit 7 250mm proto gauss in a mega with magnetic fields and you out damage every single large weapon config currently ingame.

The setup is basically them same with cruisers, though. You can't put more than 3 uber weapons in them without supporting modules.
But cruisers have less weapon slots. But perhaps it's meant that way, BS having several main turrets and some supporting ones.
