Weekend two of the Syndicate Competitive League starts Saturday, April 6th at 1700 GMT with a second day of matches Sunday, April 7th at 1700 GMT on the SCL Twitch.tv channel. We are back with a full bracket of eight exciting teams, an improved format and even more content. The SCL staff is excited to bring you a thrilling weekend of Eve Online PvP and wants you to join us as we bring you a unique entertainment experience only internet spaceships can provide.
Teams: This weekend's team line-up is spectacular. Not only do we have several returning teams, but we also have a round of teams new to the Syndicate Competitive League. Make no mistake. Just because these teams are new to the SCL, it doesn't mean they are strangers to the Eve Online tournament scene. This weekend's contenders are:
- Reputation Cartel - Bob Shaftoes
- Insurance Fraud - Fafer
- TEST Alliance Please Ignore - Dukrat
- My little Nulli - Cas Mania
- Guiding Hand Social Club - Tyrrax Thorrk
- Pandemic Legion - Gobbins
- Perihelion - IceGuerilla
- Last Huzzah - Ryans Revenge
Format Changes We made several updates to the Syndicate Competitive League format to enhance the tournament. The second day of matches ran longer than we liked and it caused many of our viewers to miss out on the live action. The length of the second day was also difficult on our production staff including the gracious and talented CCP Fozzie who volunteered his time to assist with the event. To compensate we've switch from double elimination to single elimination. To compensate for the difference in number of matches, we've changed the final matches to best of five. We've also increased the team roster from 8 to 16 to enable teams to field A and B teams for practices.
Content The SCL staff had a great time hanging out with our viewers between the matches in the in-game and Twitch.tv channels, but it's not really the content we think you should have. You deserve better and we want you to get most out of your time viewing the Syndicate Competitive League. In addition to the match commentary, the SCL is bringing you studio commentary. Between matches our studio host will bring you interviews with CCP developers, community leaders, team captains and contests.
This weekend we have a full slate of CCP developers to come and talk about everything from the DUST514 connection and Odyssey to the CSM 8 elections and Fanfest. Threads will be posted in the Eve Alliance Tournament Discussion thread so you can have your questions answered by the devs on air. You will not want to miss this weekend as we pull out all the stops to bring you a weekend full of Eve Online entertainment.
The second weekend of the Syndicate Competitive League with be bigger and better. We look forward to you join us for another fantastic weekend of PvP. Runner of Voices from the Void podcast, Eve Online Pod Pack & DJ on eve-radio.com Sundays at 1800.-á Organizer of the ATX Eve Online Meet. GÖÑ |

Richard Galaxy wrote:Congratulations to Pandemic Legion! That was a great match, went all the way to 5 rounds, and a really good fight by Reputation Cartel. 45B+ ISK bet on the Second SCL Tournament over at MoMa. Check out all the stats here: Gambling Statistics. Pools were getting crazy at the end, 7B+ ISK at a time. We saw an incredible 23B ISK bet on the Final, between the Overall Winner and the winners of individual rounds. Hope you guys had fun, and thank you for playing! A huge thank you to the SCL organisers for putting this together, and to the teams, and to the viewers in general! You guys did a great job and this is getting smoother and smoother. It was fantastic to hear from the devs between matches. Awesome to have Arydanika and Ripard Teg commenting up there as well! Thanks guys, and see you next time :).
Thank you so much and thank you to the viewers. It's great to see you all in the chat rooms on Twich.tv and in-game. To see you all enjoy what we do and making a little ISK on the side is great. The sponsors were fantastic and it was great having them on board.
Congratulations to Team Pandemic Legion and good show to Reputation Cartel. It was a pleasure watching these two teams in the finals. All the competitors brought it to the field and it I enjoyed watching every moment.
Of course a bit thanks to CCP Fozzie and all of our CCP guests. It was great having them in the studio and I hope they enjoyed the tournament and being part of the action as much as I did. Oh god. Did I say that? It wasn't conscious, but that is fantastic. Thank you for the praise. It means a lot coming from a tourney vet such as yourself. Runner of Voices from the Void podcast, Eve Online Pod Pack & DJ on eve-radio.com Sundays at 1800.-á Organizer of the ATX Eve Online Meet. GÖÑ |

Oh Noes! The orders of words in wrong in that post! We have to shut everything down now. No more SCL. That's it, we're closed now. All because of Seld and the order of words and number and other super serious matters. Hopefully the next group that comes around to do this will remember this highly important lesson.
