[1] First of all, I'd like to say this is a great game. I like it very much and since it's so big, bugs will be present. I can live with that, but this "Stuck character" thing is just unacceptable. I've played the game for about a month now and this bug has been there all the time. Getting stuck sometimes when entering system. I pay for this game like everyone else, and therefore it is NOT acceptable, that it is impossible to play the game for several hours because of stuck chars. Yes, you can file a petition, and yes, the game masters are very helpful etc. But unlike others I haven't had the pleasure of getting help in 10 minutes. It takes several hours. It is just not fair when you pay $13 a month for playing the game. As I see it, this bug NEEDS to be fixed ASAP. First priority. FileCop FileCop AI of MASS Co-CEO |

[5] I was in the beta of EVE and we never had this bug, then I've been playing since launch and it's a MAJOR problem, characters getting corrupted and being lost just isn't acceptable. So... I've been away from EVE for the past 2 months and thought I'd come back and give it another go, surely they must have fixed most of the bugs by now... err, no they haven't, EVE still has just the same bugs as before, including the stuck characters which I find mind-boggling. ![]() |

[6] Sadly one of the only ways to escape stuck-to-asteroids/object is being removed from the game. If you happen to get stuck to any object during warp, the only means you had to try to encourage your ship to move out of the sticky situation was to activate afterburners, or a microwarp drive to try to get past the object that was causing the 'sticky' effect, and then warp would kick in. This was the only thing you could do as there is no cancel warp option, so if you were stuck at warp you could only do this, as you can't do anything else. Other then that your only option was to log off after filing a petition and hope no pirate NPC's arrive afterwards and kill your ship whilst you are being logged out. Relogging used to fix this two or three patches back, but sadly if you relog, you just come back to a ship stuck at warp. Why should you have to relog anyway? This just isn't a good situation. Being able to use your burners/microwarp drive, or any other module appart from shield boosters (that means capacitor rechargers to keep your capacitor power high also is out of the question), so when you are stuck, you will be stuck. File a petition, and thats it. Amazingly this means more support work, but seems they are wanting that. I agree personally this has to be the biggest issue in this game, and its getting worse. At least all other issues revolve around doing something, not being unable to do anything at all. Cancel warp is sadly missing, and no sign of an appearance. |

[9] This would definitely fix a lot of the GM requests to get unstuck. This has happened to me several times in the few weeks that I have played already. Would it be so hard to add that cancel or at least a timeout to drop out of a warp if it isn't successfully entered within a certain amount of time, like 30 seconds or so?

[10] I've always just right clicked my ship, hit "Stop my ship", and I was able to get out of warp, double click away from the object that I was stuck to, and warp again. I figured that out the first day I played Eve... |

Same here, I've never stuck to anything. Watch warp bar go up, ooops I hit something, warp bar goes up and down, stop ship, move away from sticky thing, warp again, profit : ) If all else fails, a logout and back in usually does the trick, for me. |
