I am an Amarr pilot returning to the game after 2+ years. I am looking for a Strong role-playing corporation that I can assist with.
My gameplay goal is to fill a support role of being the "healer" type in battle. I do not know if such a thing exists in this game, but being the support in the rear who saves the day by keeping the massive ships alive or the hidden scout who never fires a shot is what appeals to me.
I also have been known to enjoy hauling goods across systems when the corporation needs it.
Is there gameplay like this in Eve for me? Or is there no need for support types?
Are there role-playing corporations out there? How do I find one to suit me? I found a thread with a ton of role-playing Alliances, but I was confused as to who to contact or see what they were really about.
Any information is appreciated,

With logistics ships you can be a sort of "healer" type in battle. Contact me in game.

Well, the healing isn't possible (technically it is, but its usefulness is...rather lacking), however the hidden scout who never fires a shot certainly exists and plays a crucial role in warfare.

Logistics ships (ex: Oneiros, heals armor tankers) are technically "healers" in the game, yes. But you can also consider battlecruisers with gang linking modules (kind of like "buffs").

The M4 Brigade is PVP based corporation. We are looking for good experienced pvp players and Industrial Players.
We have 0.0 Access (Mercoxite, Bistot, Arknor, Shadow Serpentis NPC's), Teamspeak, a POS Station and major opportunity for members to move up in ranks as we are a very new but experienced corporation. We also have plenty of targets to shoot.

But how does the M4 Brigade address my corporation needs of Roleplaying and a support role? Or did you copy and paste recruit spam into the thread?

Argh. It has been four straight days of contacting corporation after corporation but none fit. Some are not role-playing after all or their main role-players are missing so they are just a PVP group. Others say they have no need of a support role.
The most disconcerting response has been apathy. "Join us or not. Whatever".
Very frustrating.
I want to be a valuable member of a team. A role-playing corporation that could use a "support" pilot is my goal. Helping out the fleet during battles or hauling the corporation's goods from one location to another.
Somewhere, somewhere out there a coporation must exist that fits well with me.
