The Cease Fire in Omist will terminate at 12:00 (midnight) EvE time Saturday 10 September 2005.
We unofficially notified those that needed to move out they would have thru Saturday to do so, today however we caught 3 separate corps rat hunting instead of moving. We can only assume that your done moving.
This is the official notice. If your still traveling through ASCN Space or Omist after midnight our forces will have permission to open fire.
If your corp has a problem moving please eve mail cyvok and stay docked until we come to an agreement. Docking rights will be revoked at that time also.
To clarify, this takes effect 20 hours from the time of this post.

So you're saying you will fire on Assendant in Assendant space? Maybe SA needs to make another official statement?

I believe ASCN stated that Stain Empire, not Alliance, was using Omist as a haven.
I may be wrong though. I am quite often wrong, like when I sold a bunch of arbalest cruisers and dropped a zero on the sell price. -- Proud member of the [23].

It was Stain ALLIANCE and the MASS "slave" corps that used the region.
We gave them 5 days to leave peacefully or contact us to purchase "left overs". Our patrols have discoved players still rat hunting and mining, basically taking advantage of our kindness, as always.

Although Omist has been "claimed" by ASCN, It dont belong to them anymore than they own curse.
Have MASS said that you can claim it is what I would like to know, as trawling though all theses stain alliance/empire and ASCN threads isnt an easy job.
If its a hostile (againt mass's will) then its contensted betwen them, as stated on the map thread, contesting takes time, and taking over completly takes longer.

I think Mass is moving it forces to Paragon soul to start the push for full controll over the stain region.
Thus ASCN is giving them time to leave Omist. Then ASCN will assume temporarry contorll (possably permanent controll) over Omist. -----------------------------------------------

No, actually, I'd say we (ASCN) own Omist for several reasons.
- We own all 3 stations - We have sovereignty over 2 of the 3 station systems - We took it without any sort of resistance - MASS has not stated that they still claim it - There has been no force present at any time attempting to retake the region.
So I'd say that ASCN own Omist pretty conclusively.

If SA wins, I am sure the power that be will be in contact with us. Until then, go fight your little war with SE.

Well its pretty clear from the arrogant tone of ASCNs posts that they think only they have the "power" and "authority" to dole out living space to the "lesser" alliances.
Once the war with SE is done, one way or the other, the corps who formerly lived in Omist will be along to discuss the situation with those now squatting there.
ASCN has no intention of handing over Omist, why would they? All the current cease fire has done is allow them to put up POSs in peace and to tighten their stranglehold on the systems they siezed.
Oh well, a larger ASCN space just means more ways in.

Shows how little you truly know. Actually, we had POSs in place before the cease fire was in effect.
And if ASCN keeps Omist (which we don't intend to, afaik) there are actually LESS entrances into our space. May wanna check your geography before posting.

Nope. We're just stating that we totally own the region until such time as the SE/SA war is done and dusted. At that time it will be gladly handed back to the obvious whiners, errr, winner.

on behalf of SA I abide by the terms of ASCN's statement. We agreed a short time for our pilots to vacate omist until such time we beleive we can return our pilots to Omist without ASCN becoming drawn into conflict with SE/SA . If SA pilots are in ASCN controlled space after the end of the ceasefire I suggest the same as Cyvok has and contact ASCN for an escort from there back into SA space. ta muchly

Hmmm strange one this, the "peacekeepers" of Omist have picked a side.
Omist is only a few jumps away for me maybe we should have a look to make sure everything is hunky dory.

I think we're being reasonably neutral to all sides, imo.
