Instead of handing out plane tickets, CCP opens the door for CSM members only. A hallway leads to a room, with a table and chairs. They do their meetings in there from now on.
CSM9 has a lack of nullsec interest as no free trip and job interview is included anymore.
I'm not entirely clear on the point of this, but I do have a sudden urge to jump in a catalyst and blow up a miner.

EvE's CSM elections is how/why I see Ghostcrawler taking that stance of players gaming the system for their own self-interests. Something to ever be weary about, since it's not for the betterment of the game.
Betterment of a game is:
1. Improving customer service.
2. Addressing issues of player capping due to lag.
3. Making a logical, practical and useful UI.
4. Reworking the mission system so it's practical and useful.
5. Opening the game's API so modders can create useful addons.
6. Developing a WASD (or some type) of free movement system (as all that space is wasted if movement is only via predefined destinations).
Special interests are:
1. Improving trade so one powerblock can benefit.
2. Changes to roles/ships/commerce so a powerblock only can benefit.
3. Preventing improvements in the game as it may give another powerblock an advantage.

Tears? The goons along with test are the most conservative groups within the game. They do the odd 'operation' in high sec to convince themselves they still have a rebellious streak. Then they go back to their banal existence in the blue yonder.

Since the next expansion is (hopefully) going to address most of the issues of nullsec, voting for someone from a major nullsec powerbloc is the best thing you could possibly do.
I voted for Mangala, Malcanis and Mynnna, but mostly because I am too stupid to vote and it was easier for me to just vote all the candidates whose names started with an "M".
Just think of how bad an average post by me is, and then realize half of them are even worse |
