I was at the DED station in obe tonight when Everlatsing Vendetta cronies warped in to shift us, when they warped in, i immediatley CTD. i have had Lots of ships warp in on me before, and the only time ive ever CTD's is one other time, which funnily enough involed Everlasting Vendetta Memebers,
Now this could just be mere coincidence, but it has happend to me twice involving the same corp! and htey were talking smack, and saying i need to upgrade my PC which dosent need upgrading, ive got a Asus Nforce2 mobo, 1024 DDR ram, GeForce 4 Ti4600 card, and and AMD Athlon 2700XP ship!
so just beware of EVER, looks to me they are using an Exploit!

I dont believe this is a co-incidence, having said that, I dont really want to accuse anyone without proof.
Anyways, I've had this same thing happen to me numerous times, and its ALWAYS with a blackbird that targets me. On two different occasions in the Fountain region, a solo blackbird would jump into a gate im at, target me, and I would CTD immediately, and come back with a fleet right on its tail shooting at my ship. Almost lost my ship today cause of a CTD...now it COULD be just some kind of weirdass bug with a certain loadout etc etc or it could be intentional, I must admit, I've found the timing to be rather suspicious a couple times.
anyways, I've had GM's take a look at it, they tested it on chaos and couldnt find anything wrong....

oddly enough, i have Nforce2 as well, maybe its an issue with our sound;/

I see, so they don't have a CTD exploit.
It's well known that m3g4 members are prone to getting over-excited and flapping their gums when an encounter doesn't go their way.

1) our corp doesnt use exploits even when we have knowledge of them
2) what actual evidence is there of this?

yes it was overzealous. no i cannot be 100% aware of what all of my members are doing. but in the attack against you it was lead by some of the top leaders of the corporation. our members are very forthcomming with information. no exploit needed to be or was used.

Geez... you lose a fight and it could never be you.. Personally it is was a fluke. We don't win by cheating...
maybe there is a bug that has to do with a blackbird and your sound card who knows. But what ever the case it was not intentional.
Shollos sorry that happened to you, you did not indicate if it was an EV member that did this to you. You just stated it was a blackbird.
Anyways to set the record straight. No EV does not cheat or use exploits and if anybody suspects one of my members is doing this without my knowledge let me know and i will investigate the matter.

Heh, that chat log is funny, ok in the heat of the moment i lost it, what do you expect, i CTD i quickly log back on to find my BB being spanked by 2 battleships a bunch of cruisers and the Station sentry guns! im totally suprised that i actually survived, luckily i have the reactions of a freaking Funnel web spider, and not a fat ass sloth..
but can you really blame me for even being a tiny bit suspicious? it has happend twice, with your corp!
maby you are actually using the certain modules that cause this crash, but are Genuinely, unaware of it!

It's common knowledge that the sensor dampener modules are bugged BUT having tried using them myself I can assure you that the user always gets a CTD.
Note: I tried using them on NPC

i think josh mistyped that... we have used sensor dampeners vs RUS and never got reports of CTD's.

If Femme Fatal and I attack one another we both CTD too..and almost always. Don¦t know why o_O?
But I don¦t know if module or exploit, but since we both CTD it¦s not that big issue.

A few points:
There was no blackbirds there on our side. I know m3g4 had one, I believe Hanns was that pilot.
I have used sensor dampenors, and have had said dampenors used against me, and have never experienced a CTD as a result. In fact, since I replaced (actually down graded to improve stability) my video card, I have yet to CTD in almost 2 months now. Regardless, I do not believe any of our force was using them so the point is moot.
Finally, if you think someone is exploiting, notify the Devs. For one it is more effective, it gives the devs a chance to catch them in the act if in fact they are. Second ... it is just poor taste and lack of class, all you are doing is trying make a feeble comeback after getting your nose bloodied. Sad.

This has to be one of the thinest accusations of explotation I have ever seen on these boards.
There are an uncountable numbers of things in this game that can make you CTD. And looking at only two instances of CTD, it would be completly unfounded to say that both instances were from the same cause, for Im sure there is a long list of other suspected CTD causes that occured at both of those CTD instances.
How could any one ever take an accusation like this seriously?

im not saying any thing one way or the other. but it is a bit odd.
hanns when you got both of your ctd's was it with the same person or diffent people in simmilar ships? or diffrent people with totaly diffrent ships?

We had the same CTD problem while we were podding Shircrief in Jan last night aswell, it does seem to be related to something that bugs out but it doesn't seem to happen all the time, guess it's something for CCP to look into.

I had a very similar problem with EVE that did not cause CTD but it did reset my entire PC! After checking the EVE boards I found out that my onboard sound (avalanche ac97) was doing.
Could be same sort of thing with nforce2.
My pc would immediately reset itself as soon a a drone attacked a pirate....

lots of people (me included) seem to be having sound-related problems. The only solution i've seen is to run Eve with the audio disabled  but there must be a better way...

I had the CTD or PC reboots problem very bad until I bought a SoundBlaster card, after that I've only once had one freak CTD

Something is definitely up here. I've never had EVE CTD on me, yet today, last 0.0 jump to high sec, in a cloaked covops in warp to gate, CTD while loading dest gate grid. Try to relog, instant CTD again. Third time I relog im in my clone at station. Nothing really valuable lost, as it was a blank covops, and the alt i was flying could probably buy a few hundred covops with pocket change. Heck, there were only cheesy implants in that clone too. No reason to whine about losing a fight, there was no fight, at least not on my end, didnt even see who I was up against. And no, its not my hardware.
The fact that something like this is going on (be it intentional or not) is a major issue. Knowing that there is such a major flaw out there, and that there are several thousand players out there who could potentially stumble upon it, rendering any character useless to defend themselves, pretty much kills any desire to continue playing EVE at all.
We'll see how the petition goes. If CCP pulls some 'we werent there watching so sorry' crap, I'm killing the accounts. I need to be assured that when something like this happens in the future, intentional or not, exploit or not, that it will be handled properly by the petition system. If I do actually try to move something important into high sec, I should be assured that should something like this happen, that it will be handled/corrected properly.
I've already lost a buddy of mine due to some oddball rep drone reping NPC causing agression and losing 1 ship to Concord and another ship when trying to undock (after agro timer expired even!)...
