The tag previously sold for upwards of 5m isk 12 months ago. Patch time is coming up will new LP items and tag costs be amongst the changes? As it stands vice admiral is a no risk investment as investors are protected by the NPC buy price of 500k. I've invested heavily and as much as I care to do so don't feel any need to hide this fact. The reason they have crashed so low is changes to FW requiring the elimination of rats, the only way I expect the tags to rise is changes to FW which I feel might be a possibility as every one jumps onto the Gallente farm train.

If CCP nerf the Gallente farm train which I think will happen the price will rise.

I have invested several billion (I say around 10 ish billion) buying Vice tags at 505k to 1m per unit. As it stands I can lose around 5bn ISK max (the tags are allready climbing to 1m sell mark so I can offload at ''awful investment'' profit allready). As I stated I'm going to wait for CCP to close the Gallente Farm train before 9/10 fw players join Gallente for the ISK farming. I'm hoping to see the tag at 4m mark again and that'll be a 40bn profit. If it does not happen and CCP let the farm train ride and abondon FW then it's OK as I will still have made a small profit whether it's an inflation beating I'm not doing math for such small a figure.

To anyone else, though, it's got a far more sizable upside, which makes it a much less appealing investment, especially when the upside is based on CCP revisiting FW when they've stated they're pretty happy where it is. The notional upside is based on the idea that the farm is "too good" (which is funny considering they've continued to ignore missions) and that they'd revisit it at all. That's pretty thin. Mind you, I'm not saying you're wrong. It could very well turn out to be an excellent investment. I am merely pointing out that it's got a significant downside to go with its potential upside, which harms the appeal. Mynnna for CSM 8

Buying bulk in Jita at 2.5m will still turn a profit if you take them to LP store trade ins. I don't think the price will rise any higher than 3.5m untill after patch.
