Have to say its a breath of fresh air to read a post like this full of noobs. Gives new life and therfore hope to the game.
I couldnt help but smil at the guy that has earnt 10mill in 2 weeks. Just wanted to ruffle his hair and hand him a lollipop :)
I sometimes spend 10 mill just to avoid jumpin 2 jumps to pick up the same goods :)

Get Breacher if you want to npc. Use piranha light missiles mostly since it got bonus for these.

Hello again
Just want to thank all the guys which sent me greets or credits... received some small and some bigger ammounts , so now im flying a destroyer :) think its a good start, even better for mining than a frig ^^ Thanks guys: You make my startup really great :)))

Just wanted to add - dont be focused on getting in bigger ships as fast as you can. I ended up with a Battlecruiser that I could not keep the capacitor charged and the surviveability was poor. I am now having to go back and train lerning skills, engeneering skills, and mechanic skills to fly this ship well. It takes a long time to learn, this is a very detailed and rich game - but it sure is a blast.

Quoted for truth. I'm finding that ships I'd once considered "hopeless" I now love, just because I (finally) have the skills to keep the systems running efficiently. Learn on the cheap frigates, they can be handled with minimal skills and are cheap to replace when things go sideways. They get better fast as your skills level up and you get access to a wider variety of mods. Heck, I have a LOT of different ships (including battleships) and STILL use frigates more often than any other ship just because of the speed. |
