 Carriers have no "special reason" and your post has no substance. You're just against it for no reason, because you've known nothing else than the current status quo, for which there's no longer any purpose in keeping.

 The lag is from ppl, not drones. New drone handling serverside count drones that you put on the same target as a single entity, whether 1 or 10. That is the whole point.
 
 Unless you split your drones to more than 5 targets, breaking 5 drone cap adds no additional server load.

 Besides, can you imagine how hard it would be micromanaging your drones when there's 10 of the buggers getting aggro...

 It's a nerf. Balance is relative. Drone output from nondrone boats with tiny bay got much more powerful than before, while droneboats stood still. Btw, if you got a buff, as the majority did, will you whine?
