Rock on, keepiru, you are arguing in a thred with reading neither intent nor content of other people's posts!

Do. Not. Post.
If you need to write that before your post, then when it's all written, instead of clicking the "Post reply" button, click the "X" button located at the top right of your browser. Many flame wars have been avoided thus.
Also, you do realize I'll just pick your post apart by now, don't you?

Yes, let's take the time to evaluate. Both have the same drone offense, while one of the ships also has a very good complementry electronic warfare system. I'd go with the electronics, myself. Too bad it's not on the Vexor, as I'd have loved that. I'm one level lower in Amarr.
Quote: You are just plain wrong, and operating entirely on hearsay. Do the math on DPS. 8 Heavies does 169 DPS. Thats right, 169 DPS, not including any guns and drones require ZERO fittings while the drones have the equivalent to 2 Thorax base armor. (2400)
Ah, but you do not attack and kill the drones if you can a) kill the carrier faster or b) force the carrier to warp away from the drones. Also, they don't have 2x a Thorax' hit points if you dumb-bomb them, do they?
Drones are the slowest, and most ungainly, weapon in EVE ever. They are worse than missiles, and have always been, in this respect. Such a simplistic comparison as simply adding 169 (and who in the nine hells are using Ogres for combat?) to the existing damage output is embarassing. Every drone user knows that there is nothing ganky (swift damage) about drones.
Quote: The Vexxor has excellent damage output with 15 medium drones, and is practically immune to most forms of EW provided you arent an idiot. With the new MK2 changes it will be even better/easier to fit.
200m^3 dronebay is overpowered on ANY cruiser.
Nyxus
Not really.
I've found that I am pretty immune to anything and everything in combat. Granted, my opponent in these cases didn't know which end of the gun you put ammo into, and which end the amo went out of.
200 metrics on a cruiser that is built to have 200+ metrics is not going to be overpowered at all.
You, sir, completely and utterly failed to read the intent and content of the thred. Let me spell it out for you:
Vexor should be focused around drones exclusively. No more than a rudimentary auxiliary weapons system is needed beyond this. I am certain noone in their right mind would want to just move the previous Thorax down to the Vexor, now would they? But then again, the Vexor wouldn't be quite as bad - less powergrid compared to the other ships, and alo less turrets, slots, and base hit points. And higher mass. Even simply giving the Vexor a larger drone bay will not unbalance things quite as much, now that all other (with reservation) cruisers have been boosted. It won't be as popular, either, as it doesn't have the same sexiness as the Thorax, thus it'll not apeal to quite as many non pure power-gamers.
I am sure Meridius will back me on this one: Amarr are the ones supposed to use turrets than EW.
Ah, if only ships in EVE had control points that limited number of drones in use, then ships like Vexor and Arbitrator could have the extra drones they need with them. Not to mention that you could make killing drones a viable, balanced, method of protection.
P.S. I hope I edited out enough ill feeling and sarcasm to make this post readable. My primary intent is to get a point across, not to insult. --
