Wow whats going on, I went to NAGAS site to order up a Ishtar and its a whopping 130 days.
Just curious how long does it take to build a T2 HAC, I can see why they cost so much if it takes such a long time to build them.

Its just that the Ishtar is the new flavor of the month HAC. But now more and more players can fly HACs so you have an even higher demand as HAC pilots become more common. As for the Ishtar i'd contribute its current popularity, at least partially, to Eyeshadow's video  , not that thats a bad thing.

thats 4 ships a week, when a ship is fotm it doesent take much for them to mount up.
Also, many of the orders are people who then resell them at a 10-20% markup on escrow/market.

Why thank you, though i doubt that many people have actually watched it (probably less than 1k downloads)
The main problem with HACs is that there are more people learning to fly them all the time, and no more supply coming to the market. They take 36 hrs to build and theres very few BPOs in circulation atm (though thank god i know someone that has 1  )

You can pay more and get any HAC on the market in most places right now. NAGA has worked very hard to sell less than anyone else rather than let demand set thier prices, doing so means they have a very high demand that is unchecked by price.
You want it now, you have to pay for it.

Look at the Zealot, I just ordered one and it's 166 days. 
Eyeshadow summed up the problem succinctly. The number of pilots who can use HAC's is constantly rising - while the number of BPO'd in circultaion, and therefore production, has remained the same.
RELEASE MORE BPO'S!!!!
I don't even mind if Naga gets all of em, at least they will be able to help stem the overwhelming tide of demand that is engulfing Eve atm.

Buy a Dominix instead of an Ishtar. Holds more drones, pays out full insurance, cheap to buy and can tank very well seeing as it's a BS.
After consideration I thought why wait for a HAC, at 30mill it would have been worth waiting....

If you want to fly hac, you must have the money to back it up. Honestly, without at least 800m isk in hand for you to waste, don't bother with hac and stay with assault ships. I bought 2 zealots at 118m each, 2 vagabond at 105m, 1 deimos at 116m and 2 ishtar at 115m. I didn't wait, only time I spent was to fly to different places to pick up the ship. Fun value is >>> isk. If you can fly and want a hac, just buy one. There is no point to wait.

yeah.... how do u earn money in this game?... if u dont mine or dont mission run, anything else u'll do will lead to losing of ISK :/

I think it's a matter of grinding away at ISK until you have enough to risk losing some and hope taht risk pays off in a major way. If you're unlucky or just a bad player you'll just have to start again.
EVE doesn't have xp grinding but it does have ISK grinding

maybe u should stop pre-orders and sell on market as they finish.
would help with the fact by the time people get the ship they don't want it so just resell on market at marked up price.

Yes, brilliant.
Except that copying takes longer then producing on tech2...
I'd say we need bpc drops from research agents for rp offers. Limited (very limited) runs ofc so that its more of a consolation then really worth grinding them agents for for huge profit.
Oh, and remove automatic rp accumulation.

But by the time you get it you will want to order the new tehII BS (which might well have HAC resistances if by that time everybody flies HACs anyway) and that will have waiting time August 2007. \o/ for CCP.
