I just think it is hard to believe that he was kicked out of the Navy because he was a man attracted to men.
You would think it was no deal at all 7000 years from now.

The fact that Eve has *** pirates isnt funny, the fact that the Caldari navy kicked him out is. sly political comment 4tw.
On a tangent, I knew the guy who first sued the US navy for kicking him out for being ***. He became an artist though not a pirate

It's not a political comment.
And, to be honest, the original post sounded more like making fun of ***ness rather than just a delighted and surprised notion of the diversity of EVE.

tbh its really disgusting people abuse this thread for personal attacks and generalisations, g a y people reading these comments will probaly frown and are not waiting for your pitty, you only create more difference, you are acting like g a y people are victims and need your superhuman forum skills and fake sympathie to protect "them" by flaming in a thread that had no other intention then to put a smile on the faces of those people who actually have a sence of humor. (kudos to CCP for humor )
For those who attacked me personally for making this thread, I come from holland and was probaly raised allot more progressive and free then you, where I live we are way past the stage of acknowledgement on the "g a y" and other subjects, meaning we treat people the same whatever they are, g a y, green, normal etc...

Some ppl will be offended by anything. It's a simple fact of life for those making newspapers, books, films or simply walking down the street.
I actually asked a g a y friend of mine of he thought this to be offensive to g a y men.
He just laughed and told me a heterojoke *frown* - now those are offensive!
