Loot corp. attacks in Gonditsa
Event #1: DeathSpawn66 - attacked my Iteron Mark 3 and boarded it.
Event #2: Dyonisus Davinci - attacked my rookie ship that I was using to return to base and destroyed it. He also attacked my pod and killed me.
Total loss estimated to just below 1.5 mil ISK.

Welcome to the Aridia region.
Its currently very dangerous in that region and expect similar things to happen again. There are several pirate groups/corps/indviduals that ply the paths between Gonditsa and Karan making it very tricky for new players to live there.
However there are a few corps in the 'lower' part of the region that make it their job to keep things relatively safe (Elite Academy, Rangers, Supernova, others). But in the 'upper' part your pretty much on your own.
Good luck. Just be glad you only lost 1.5 mil isk.

They have been there since i've been playing, back in 1.4.2004. (not american date).
Mafia are there too normally... I wish they would come camp gates in 00.

Right after Warp Disruptor made it's effect and blasts took up my shield and armor in an instant I god the message on the middle of the screen: BOARDING
And then went warping on my pod :)

Is this for real?
a) You were "boarding" your pod... which is admittedly rather silly since technically you never left it.
b) Gonditsa is not somewhere for a 10 day old character to fly around.
c) Don't fly back to where pirates killed you if you successfully escaped them in the first place. If they're camping they'll stay there.

I beleive that when your ship goes pop you get a stock message that you are now "boarding" your pod. I think that is where the OP got the idea that he was being boarded (remember he is really new to EVE).
As for the statement that Gonditsa is not safe (or a smart place ) for really new players, I agree.

I have heard that if you bring him p-o-r-n-o, Deathspawn will spare your ship. Actually, I just surmised this from the excessive growth of hair on his palms. <snicker>

There are no pirates in Gonditsa.
This is obviously a thread meant to hurt the name of our corp.Deathspawn is a miner,no need to fear him.

Anyhoo, Aridia should have all it's guns removed. It's interesting as it is, but the fun would NEVER EVER STOP if that would happen. Who cares about Aridia anyway, especially when it's full of pirates and newbies boarding their pods?

is aridia really that dangerous lol ive been operating up here for some time on missions etc - to be honest with pink panther and LEGION elsewhere
and contraband and HUN corp (imp alliance and other imp alliance members) as well as BOB and FA members running amok
The whole region has become a good place to do business sure u get pirates in the hier - jasson - kamih corridor - some newbie pirate outfit who cant shoot for well they cant shoot todchester or something along those lines - u got eliptic and apoc enterprises in jasson (they live there hardly leave that system though they do move around)
hey a vibrant trading region will always attact pirates - though once u get past the 0.5 - low sec gates in the middle its usually pretty quite.

holy crap I finally got some forum love! Yay i've been waitin for months for this. I want to thank umh, gift for letting me in loot corp, shybum1 for letting me steal his computer, umh satan for being red. Kroma is correct though If u drop a can of pron in front of my gate you will not be shot, or if you talk to me then you won't get shot, cause i get lonely.
I can't speak for dio though, he is one angry mofo. I asked him not to shoot someone once and not only did he kill/pod kill him and slapped my mother in the face! Angry mo'fo. Anyways thanks for the forum love, i'll be operating in gonditsa 24/7 as per usual. Anyone want to place a bet how fast I will get ganked in the next 1 day?
