The alternate views of the Tornado kind of gives me an idea for a new ship class. The part sticking out front in the middle of the ship is what I always assumed to be the bridge. But the alternative views make it look more like a large gun. I realize that wasn't really the intention of the designer, but a special kind of battleship that can fit a larger weapon for large targets (kind of like a smaller, weaker dreadnaught) might make things interesting. |

I think the real question is, what bonuses should it get?
I say replace the web bonus with a drone bonus, and give it a 400m3 drone bay.

There is a slim chance of a new ship class among caps (at least talking art wise). CCP has alot of left over designs from competitions over the years (free art for them). Make them the new IWIN button and all the people currently crying about losing their IWIN button can have a goal to set for.

It's possible that the contest award "New BS" will simply be a re-skin of the Tempest (for balancing issues), much like the did with the Scorpion.
I sure hope not though, as I am fond of the existing Tempest model, no one's really complained about it, and I'd love to see a new, webbing BS.
I'm anxious to see what the Dev's have in store for it, this would be a SWEET Christmas Present if implemented right!
