How do you inspect your loot once the mission is over ? It does get moved from space into your cargo hold and from there into your items bin in a base.
So what? You don't the take them inside your pod. The only way to catch a disease would be from an implant or something.. or drugs if they are ever usable..

Oh I thought you were talking about risk of catching something while flying around in space or something silly like that. You meant while walking around in the station? Okay that makes sense. Except that there isn't really any reason for pod pilots to leave their pods. They can do everyone within their pod and currently there isn't even a way to get out of your pod alive. If there was implemented a way to walk around stations and stuff, then I could see this happening, and would be very interesting, as long as it didn't happen to often.

I did, asshat. It's an NPC. NPCs also steal titans from each other and stuff. All kinds of things that us normal pod pilots don't.
It's impossible for you or me to escape from that nasty pod which you hate so much.
That's just the way it is.
Diseases aren't going to magically drills holes through the hull of your pod and infect you.
I listed a few ways of getting diseases that would make sense though.
But unlike you I'm not going to repeat myself, so you'll have to scroll up and read.
