There is bad lag in system, unducking becomes a problem, as as docking does. Also warp out of system take more then 15 minutes.
A more and serious problem that you do missions at that time in the system. There is great change through the lag you get blown away. As you could easily do the mission without repairing.
The game as now is if play in that system, when took out some warpgates has become the center. The center of lag. *********************************************** Miner Addicted

Wow, that makes no english.
Aside from that, what would you like us to do about it? Maybe this would be more appropriately sent to support? |

Well if US have any effect on DEV's perhapse email them a link to the issue, but for myself I was just checking in here to see if anyone official had posted a known issue about it yet..
For better english let me re-state the issues.. For the past couple weeks it seems population in Oursulaert has risen rapidly.. Where I at most on a busy night saw 180-190's I now on any day see 250-300+ depending on time of day.. I have cable and a fairly buff system, the lag issues are clearly server side or perhapse node related.. I live in the southeast USA. I'd like a discussion thread about the specifics of why populations have risen there. Also get some motivation for DEV's to join this discussion to point out the weaknesses that system is suffering because of hardware issues or perhapse node issues. Maybe recent changes in traffic flow from new gates or agents or whatever..
If this isn't the best area to post it, I'll cut/paste it around...

Sorry about picking on your English. That wasn't fair. I've been in similar situations where I had to communicate in languages other than the one I was born into and I know how it feels.
As far as the problem goes it likely has something to do with overall traffic on the servers (obviously at record highs) along with the changes to the jump gates that have redistributed traffic. Oursulaert is now the number one traffic system in the game. |

If you check some of the recent articles in the news theres one proclaiming the death of Yulai and its replacement by places like Jita and Oursulaert as hubs of market activity. This was as a result of the gate layout being changed making yulai less of a centre for travel. Expect at some point a similar story about Jita and Oursulaert as they attempt to reduce the number in system and therefore the lag by fiddling with the gate layout again and again :(

Sidenote: There are around 50 people each in Tash-Murkon, Amarr, Penirgman, Hedion, Chaven...
Amarr Space basically.
There seem to be less players overall, and those are more evenly divided up.
As I am in general in favor of the Amarr, I just suggested visiting the friendly slaver race and doing trade there! :)

There is of cource one very easy solution to the problem, don't go that that system. There are 1000s of systems in eve, no need to spend all your time in the most populated one.

its because of the gate changes.
The devs closed some of the old gates so that u have to go round
so some systems are becoming really busy
