I looked back through all the blogs as there was a picture of the cluster at one point. Sadly the picture has been removed but here are some links for a couple of cluster related blogs from the last few years.
Oveur in April 2004 on the Server upgrades
Red Button in August 2003 on the way the cluster works

lol it amazes me to see that picture altered and completely mislabeled :) Funny in this aspect but thats no model of an intended home computer, that friends is a nuclear reactor control panel off of a ship, albeit an antique :p

I would think it looks something similar to these: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
But possibly in cabnets.
As for pc setup: here.. Its not mine but I wish it was.

Maybe like the fifth image, all the others are not space or heat aware installations and were done by amateurs who thought they would save money using tower equipment.
