lol... Now how many accounts you have in Eve is an indicator of your social status IRL. This is even more pathetic then I thought.
I fail to see the logic in this. Alt tabbing between 2 accounts won't kill you social life
Few days ago i think i met a macro miner. I started a conversation with him, wich he accepted.(so no chat in local) Said hi,no response. After a minute i asked if he was there,no response. Minute later i said i would take his ore, still no response. I made a few runs ,not getting rich there ,i only had a trasher near.
Before taking the ore i send a petition to ccp reporting him as macro miner.
What did confuse me later was that there were 2 ships also getting ore from the miner. But in all that time that they saw me taking the ore there wasn't one response from them.
So i'm not really sure if it was a macro miner, but then ,why didn't he respond?

Macros can use more than one account so it's possible all 3 ships were running on macros.
Either that or the other two were just like you and taking advantage

Having two accounts is one thing, I still think its unnescesary, but hey, what the heck... What bugs me are people who run huge mining ops from a single computer and still think they are normal in the noodle...

Mining with one and hauling in the other makes a lot of sense to me.
Perspective - people spend 40+ hours bowling every week, practicing in front of the mirror, etc. Or playing bridge, or practicing for eating contests, fasting, you name it.
Very little difference in the end between someone who plays one account and someone who plays five in the greater scale of things, eh?

Hehe yeah but can they carry on a conversation with you?
I have an IRC bot which can carry on a fairly convincing (if VERY circular) argument, but after a while you realise it actually makes no SENSE at all.
It can fool a few people for a long time, tho.

Does this really bug you? Do you sit around all bugged because you don't think these multi-account people are normal? Do you spend your time posting on gaming forums telling people that you've never met how you think they aren't normal? Do you ferociously click the refresh button over and over, as evidenced by the frequency of your posts, just hoping someone will respond so you can tell them how not-normal they are?
God damn you're cool.

I place all of them in a gang so I can warp them around easily. I've been doing this since release and have never had a problem. This is not against any rules and in fact there is a post by a dev somewhere on these boards that explains how to do it.
IS there any way you can explane the alt tab, are you in full or windowed mode? Im doing the same but i leave them in windowed and offset each one so i wind up clicking on the side of the screen to bring one to the top.
Thx

Let's not troll people who play the game differently.

I have a desktop resolution of 1280x1024 I start each account up at that resolution in windowed mode and then move the window up a little to get rid of the title bar at the top. Then I hit ATL-TAB to switch between the accounts. Not sure how better to explain it. Hope this helps.
