Every time i started the game,- i must set agaun the resolution of the screen! Every time the TUTORIAL arrives again! every time!!!
and again and again!! the computer dont remember all my options!!! every time i jumpisg by stargate the tutorial arrives and tell me something ''you are in space now'', and i mush to close it again!!! i tryyed all things i can do! i'm reinstalling windows, changing options (option ''turn of the tutorial'' doesn't work)!!!
i don't know what to do!!! maybe problem in poptions that i set in windows or what!??
PLEASE HELP ME!!
playing on my stationar mashine, i have a notebook too and on it all options are remembering and working all time!!!
but on this mashine all the time when i using the sargate, entering station or reerntering the geme i must set all options again!!!
WINDOWS XP SP1 PROFESSIONAL

Hm I would try to delete (not uninstall) the installation, and copy it from the working notebook - and place it in the same directory.

i've tryed, but game can't run, then i deleted file
X:\EVE\cache\Settings\pc.dat (file with destination of the fonts) and game is running but all options, that was setted on notebook, are not working.

i've installed sp1, but nothing changed!
hey it's a horrible desiase! i dont know what to do, i ve installed windows that installed on my note but noting!!!! :(

I've got same problems... it started some time ago... and stopped after 2 days.
now after two weeks apeared again.
i'm runing windows XP prof on Athlon 64

I had this same problem tryed to reinstall game and even reinstalled Windows XP and nothing helped. As soon as I went to Windows update and downloaded all the fixes It stoped and been working fine ever sense. Not sure what fixed it for sure just know for me it was in the updates for windows.
