A Black Ops Capital ship that is support based.
A hauler/carrier/logistics that can support Black Ops gangs for deep & extended operations in hostile space.
It cannot bridge, but can lite a covop cyno, it can jump to covop cynos only.
It has a drone bay comparable to the Rorqual.
It does not have gang link bonuses.
It can jump thru stargates.
Can use smartbombs, Capital transfers, neuts
Has a larger ship maintenance bay (1.5 mil) which allows only covop ships.
It cannot warp cloaked but gets the same speed bonus as a Blops BS.
It is smaller & faster than any other capital ship out there.
Here's the nice feature, it can use the clone vat module which might actually get used for a change.

Why can it use gates when no other cap can, especially given the fact that it's ship bay is a full 50% larger than that of a regular carrier?
How can it be smaller and faster than a carrier if it can carry so many more ships?
Why can it only jump to covert cynos, when black ops can jump to the regular kind just fine?
Why no links if it's support based?
How do you keep it out of highsec if it can just use gates?
What kind of EHP are we talking here? Carrier level? Battleship level? Somewhere in between? |

First question then I will try to answer your other questions.
Are you one of Wibla's alts?
JF is a cap & it can use gates just fine.
It can be smaller & faster because it doesn't have a enormous drone bay or a enormous cargo hold, and this is the purpose of the ship, also fleet maintenance bay is just 20k m3
ok, I will give on jumping to regular cynos like the black ops bs
ok, I will give & say it can use one ganglink only, have to give up mid slots to command processors for more, but you have T3 cruisers that can boost fleet.
ok, I will give here too that it can go into highsec, highsec needs a capital base carrier that can move fitted ships around that is more than just the Orca.

I m torn between disliking it or hating it... personally the ONLY cap ship I want, is a unbonused Carrier that can carry 4 or 5 FITTED battleships in high sec, no weapons, no bonuses or stuff, just heavy tank, so I can carry all my ships around easily, sort of a mobile base, |

Fix regular Blops first.
F's and JF's are different in that they are industrial Caps. Since this Blops Cap is combat based, it should not be allowed to use gates.
Overall I am extremely indifferent, but not so indifferent as to not voice my opinion. |

Edit: to clarify I know they are categorized as industrial, but can be grouped with the Orca and Rorq because they are essentially non-combat platforms. |

No, I'm nothing to do with Wibla. I am, in fact, a main.
JF is a freighter, it is not a 'real' capital. Aren't they a lot smaller?
It has twice the fleet bay and 50% more hanger than a carrier. How, exactly, is that smaller? You're taking off 90k dronebay and adding on 500k ship bay and 10k fleet bay. 510k is bigger than 90k.
Why does highsec need carriers? As hilariously easy to gank as these things will be, do you think anyone will actually use them? (Actually, that's a stupid question, they will and the tears when they die will be hilarious.) |

ok , 5 bs fitted in a shipsbay . its like a freighter , not for items but for ships .
if ccp likes your post , and thy make a shipfreighter , then it can fit 2 fitted bs maximum. you cant ask for more , 1 mil cargobay changed for 1 mil shipsbay .
no slots , no drones , nothing extra .
for 2 bs , nobody wil gank you , unless 2 bhaalgorns or expensif ships . but if you put it full with expensive smaller ships , you wil be ganked .
its not a verry bad idea . but dont ask to mutch , dont overpower it . just change the same cargo in a shipsbay , thats it .

It sounds to me like you just want a easy way to GTFO for a black-ops fleet. There is no need to make the hanger that large first off, and to put a clone bay on it also, is just making it a cap sized taxi. It should have a combat support ship role. If you want to make it have a large ship hanger then it would have no cargo bay( this would also effect the fuel bay). Let it and the BOBS warp while cloaked, never understood why the BS can't. Give it drones and the usual carrier bonuses, make it a combat support ship. It would be cool if while it can't bridge it could have a mod that allows it to extend a BOBS bridge. Basic idea is it jumps to max range then lights cyno relay mod. Make this be a 2 min mod that is seen on overview like the reg cyno. Covert ops cyno is lit in final dest. BOBS lights bridge and bam you jump even farther then you normally could. This mod takes 2 min to cycle and 10 min to cool down. Also ships bridged this way use more fuel equal to the distance traveled. now that would be nice. |
