Awesome. Oursulaert Bob.
Seriously, the thousand folks in Essence, and the 350 in Oursulaert specifically, are only two jumps from three different regions, with lots of good systems and half-decent markets. If you're not looking to buy a new megathron at a low price, why are you hanging out there? ------ I generally assume the following: 1. 95% of Empire Carebears don't get 0.0 PVPers. 2. 95% of 0.0 PVPers don't get Empire Carebears. 3. 100% of Ore Thieves steal just to upset the Miners. |

Originally by: Darius Shakor As for me, I am all of 4 jumps away from Jita, and there are about 6 people here and zero lag. I am sure that is the same situation 4 jumps in any direction from Oursulaert.
Yulai is 4 jumps from Oursulaert.

And the Tutorial missions lead new players there somehow. I donŠt remember the details, but I made Oursu my homesystem without knowing anything about market hubs, agent population and things like that, just because i knew an agent there already and had some stuff in one of the stations.

1. Make system to hold only 300 players. Deny more jumps to system. Find some scifi nonsense to cover this one up for like wormhole instability.
2. Make dynamic nodes, bigger node gets more server units to work on it. ________________________________________________________ Freedom is illusion created by weird voices in my head |

I originally moved to Oursulaert when I started playing as the first agent in Bourynes sent me there. Over 18 months ago now.
I'm so glad I moved out a while back, although the vast majority of my junk is still there.
I remember when 50 peeps was a lot there LOL, but that was when it was all fields.....when I were a lad.

Another things which makes sense is to remove the belts from each hub system. As a RP point of view, the belts have been depleted due to the enormous population of the system.
I think this would help a bit. (Ie 10-20 players that aren't in the system cause they were mining). _______________________ Forums DSU |

travel times are long enough already without having to wait in a queue just to warp through a system.
oursulaert isn't really on the way to anything. the lag isn't caused by travellers passing through, it's from dozens of people running missions in system all the time.

It's not just normal agents, it's the storyline agents. I have a nice agent in backwater system that's never very busy. I try to avoid Oursulaert as it's crowded hell-hole. Then a storyline mission comes around and... Gah, it's in Oursulaert.

thats what they said last time :S that they would move nodes to cover more ppl.... and that nodes dont start up unless theres someone there. but they said 'support' it i think, so i guess that would mean theres one main node on the system and the extra ones helping it out?

Ours is very over crowded, I am forced to go there, as the best quality agent's avilbiley to me are all based there, the ones in the surouding region are all like -19, next to teh +18 in ours which end up beeing a +29 with my skils, means i ended up going to ours every time.

Nooo it's worse instead of proper capacity planning they just going to throw more hardware at it. Seems like the Dev types are in charge of all systems activities.
Just wait till they get their "64" bit upgrade in place, then when the system has 1100 people at sheer gridlock you'll look apon the 360+ in system as the good 'ole days.
Yes I've been known to Target, Sling and serve up large portions of fecal matter.

Wooooo there horsey...
I am of the galk, i tend to find the most secluded systems in eve.....
In other words i rarely go there.. I did ask this though to my alt corps ceo once, Why is that place so popular.....
Said something about a certain agent that was kingpin for the system sec....
Don't ask me, i don't subscibe to it, though sufice to say with the nwo.. where there is a lot of people... there's going to be a whole lot more setting up shop...
