Trifectas Culture
Our culture can be summed up in one sentence.
"Many stumble along the easy path, we choose to walk down the hard road."
-It is easy to destroy, it is hard to build. I would like to see all of our pilots working to build our Alliance together.
-It is easy to bash an idea, it is hard to create a concept and share it with the group. You do not have the right to ***** until you have proven your ability to build us up. What will you do to make the group stronger?
-Its easy to jump ship when sinking, hard to do your part to keep the ship afloat. We are a team, and with a team you will have highs and lows. We do not want members that run at the first sign of trouble.
-It is easy to kill *****, hard to work for it. Instead of waiting for someone to call out "warp to me I have point", watch your 360, go scout another system, or find us our next Merc. contract. EVE is such a difficult game that once someone learns how to get a few kills, they turn into mindless K/M slaves. We should judge our success by the good fights we have, not how many ships we scratch for a K/M.
-It is easy to blob, hard to solo or find good fights. Instead of blobbing a solo frig pilot ask him for a 1v1. Instead of warping in on a fleet kill, take a ship out on a solo roam.
-It is easy to camp a station or gate, hard to have successful fleets in open space. It can be fun to get some kills on station or gate, since this is often where targets are. We however will focus most of our time on perfecting our open space fleets.
-It is easy to break your word, hard to honor it. EVE is War. At the heart of war is deception. I understand this, but to set us apart from most other groups, If you give your word for a 1v1, 5v5, etc. or a ransom, we honor it.
-It is easy to be a ****, difficult to be humble and truly strong. I would pick a Trifecta member with average pilot skills and a good attitude/character, every-time, over a epic pilot ass-hole.
To sum up the culture we are trying to build. We expect everyone to bring their best. We honor arranged fights and ransoms. We do not kill *****. We would rather have a good fight then a blob. We are trying to build something that will last.
As we all play the game and go through our real lives, often times the easy path is not the way. The hard road presents true and lasting rewards unattainable from taking the easy way. |
