If you throw things in you station container it get everything locked. It is a pain when you are playing around with diferent fitings and other ocasions as well. Why not just inplement a way to NOT LOCK UNLESS SPECIFICATED?

If anyone else had trouble understanding what he tried to say, I think he's complaining about everything being locked when you put it into a station container... with no way to have it NOT lock them when you first put them in the container. - Ztone |

It was perfectly understable, but some people just seem to have trouble to understand what they think it is not the perfect spelling.
I agree.. station containers lock everything you put in them, i bet that takes lots of resources, the best thing would be to not lock any items that you place in these cans unless you select lock on them.

Signed. This is a huge issue.
Beyond unlocking, they need to implement simple drag and drop onto the container icon instead of forcing you to open the container before you can put anything in it.

Actually, there's more:
Items in containers can not be viewed as assets.
Items in containers can not be recognized by agents.
Items in containers can not be sold, processed, refined, etc.

Very nice observations. I ask for CCP to have a look on this too.

I believe the 'lock' is due to the fact that all station containers have audit logs.
What we need are containers without audit logs. Logs can be great when mulitple players use the same container but when you are the only user it's a pain.

I definitely would like a container that doesn't lock items placed into it, or at least gives you a choice. Or perhaps some other way to organize items in our hangar. Free cardboard boxes, anything but those containers that lock items!

OMG let us search items inside of containers in asset search please. Currently, if you sort your items how it was intended using station containers, you eliminate the functionality of the asset search... -- Proud member of the [23].

You are right on your assumption but wrong in the solution. You may want all the resources a Audit log station container can give you without the hassle of the auto lock thing.
What we need is just a simple click option "never lock" or "disable autolock". DONE!
That is all.

That's the biggest I think. I would deal with the locking if this was fixed.

They didn't add it in purpose so query are ligher to run. 1)Could be great to see them. 2)Yep, agent search in hangar, not in all the container you have. Somehow good so agent don't take stuff if you click by error and had the stuff in you container. it a protection ! 3)Game logic can only sell and refine stuff from your hangar. It better like that too. It will soon be possible to refine from corporation hangar, it bad if ppl can refine from can they don't hav acces. __ BP n bugs Got a new idea ? (Last updated 5 Sept 05) |
