Ice belts will soon need scanning, asteroid belts get depleted, yes they re spawn after DT.. what about those of us who play just before DT.. guess what sometimes no belts to mine... The same with exploration, yes you will find more right after DT. Will this mean players in this TZ will have no way to get ice as all the hidden sites will be mined out?? PI resources move so you need to keep adjusting.. Moon mining once setup needs very little effort to keep its precious resources coming in... Perhaps its time to re-look at my 5 accounts Oh PLEASE!!! As for ore belts....guess you will just have to go to another system or region.

Well, assuming they do it right, and since their last change created resulted in tech being king so you can't be too sure about that. Since it appears the OP did read the devblog I can't help but feel that's being ignored outright by the OP because < insert pet moon mineral fix that probably makes the game worse here > wasn't implemented. I'll put my wager on "Depleting Moons" being the fun-killing fix, judging by everything else said.

The couple huge coalitions keeping even tighter control of their space, to ensure they get the respawns. I know people think "Wow, wouldn't it be great if a gold mine spawned in my little system.... NO. No it would not be good. Well, unless you want a scores of supers to show up and take your system from you becasue a gold mine just spawned in it. The purpose of moon minerals is to create reasons for the mega alliances to fight each other to gain control of the best ones. Static serves a perfect mechanism for that.
