My old Avatar used to have a cool looking bluish grey uniform Jacket + something like a googleglass eyepiece for military use... at least it looked like it would be. I sacrificed that all for the tattoo above my left eye...
Mine used to be this: http://www.eve-avatars.com/?Bogi%20Vaugara
I like the way things look now but I just want my uniform and eyepiece back One does not simply undock from Jita 4-4 |

Heh, you know what's funny? At a certain point, they were testing apparel like from the good old times.
And then they removed it from Sisi.
And haven't worked on avatars for over a year.
And it makes so much absolufucking sense that I won't even try to explain why.
Neither will CCP. The Greater Fool Bar-áis now open for business, 24/7. Come and have drinks and fun somewhere between RL and New Eden!-áIngame chat channel: The Greater Fool Bar |

The biggest thing I miss was the distinct differences between all the bloodlines, some of the outfits and the backgrounds.
This char is an Intaki, wouldn't know to look at it.. |

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors. If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

What the ...? Your old avatar looked like the result of an amarrian breeding experiment with lower Minmatars. More like a slaver hound than a slave Damn ugly and great at the same time. When i created my new one it was almost not possible to design an old face, an ugly face, a weird face and not even remotely a battle hardened face. All were young and more or less beautiful. Just like most actors/roles in cinema flicks today portrayed by college boys/girls.

Well...
Yeah...
The reason for Londo's hair is status. He is in an important (but poorly regarded) position within Centari society and the traditional fashion allows him to show this status with the broad fan of hair - a status indicator with much in common with those we know; it takes time to grow the length of hair required to get such a broad fan which proves that you're not some johnny-come-lately and it is not something he can do himself which proves that he can afford servants to do it for him.
There were once various cultural fashions in EVE, fashions and traditions from the homeworld which persisted through the transition to the more 'global' perspective of the capsuleer. The Intaki tradition of long hair (and there's still no indication of why that went) was one, the intricate headdresses of high status Amarr, the voluminous and transparent "Quafe Girl" high fashion of the Gallente who have no taboo about showing parts of their bodies which they now have to keep thoroughly covered to maintain a PEGI rating...
Even in the above linked catsuit, which is perfectly decent, the absurdity of the need to maintain that PEGI standard against the efforts of the players is visible... I would suggest most women wearing that outfit would be wearing a strapless bra. |

The One and ONLY answer to this question is...
STAR WARS: EPISODE 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE proved that stupid hats... are stupid in the eyes of the public. One of the oldest mission players in EVE designed a chart that explains stat priority in regards to mission running, compared Alpha, DPS, Ship Speed and Sig Radius and scores them. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m24dbrfuWn1r86ax8o1_1280.jpg |
