Forsaken Empire was probably the most powerful pirate alliance ever formed ... right up until it made friends with people.
NAPs = BAD. ______________________________________________

Lol, entertaining read - I think a lot of ppl should get a clue.
And no, I dont think pirate alliance cud take down any alliance that has NAPs simply because they would become everyone's punching bag like it happened in the past, and get defeated by sheer number and economical gap.
To the guys who suggested pirates using "different weapons than the blob war" then well, its a good idea but u dont need a pirate alliance to do that, just any group with enuff ppl cud cripple an alliance with such tactic, too bad getting such tactic to work for more than 3 days is nearly impossible in a online game where people have to log off, not to count the fact any noob can beat an experienced player due to sheer outnumbering, so even the most clueless carebears can kick your @rse by undocking his NPCin raven refitted with a pair of NOS and with a friend on his side to royally kick ur but.
Bottomline: if you think alliance npcers and miners will not fight back and beat ur smaller groups thru numbers then you probably havent been in any deep alliance space recently.

Having friends and having a NAP is a big difference. Did you never play a multiplayergame vs a friend??? Actually a lot of Teddys are friends with Celestial Apocalypse, they even used same TS in seperate channels for long time while hunting each other...does this mean we cannot shot them??? I guess not, because we shot them and so did they. Give some fun to your friends: do not nap em!
Try a Teddybear spawn or the Teddybear complexes in Pure Blind, Syndicate or empire. |

I remember TPS :)
Fighting TPS was some of the most fun I've had in this game. They were great enemies, any smack was *usually* in good fun and the fighting was constant. Now the biggest irony is that I'm living back in old TPS space under the F-E name :P -----

Originally by: Handon Guild I am quite sure that the pirates would win if we formed a pirate "empire". Number would probably be the same, but people who dedicate their eve-time to kill people for profit do have a skill-wise advantage. Also given the fact that the large alliances have a lot of people who do not even know how to fire a gun - and yes, I know that there are people in the alliances who are good at pvp, but there are just not enough...
Yeahh it really takes PvP skill, to gate gank at sniping range So Say I. Einheriar Ulrich of the Bloodline of Einheriar.

Piracy and normal alliance warfare are two TOTALLY different styles of warfare. I mean totally different.
The mentality is different, the tactics have nothing to do with each other, the skills required are different, even the RL skills and personalities needed are different.

Are your buttons diffrently shaped aswell?..well it's a difrent I bet but perhaps not this much ehy?
Well I won't open my mouth about any eventuell results but the whole point is pretty much about diffrent thinking and the result of them both getting in line of fire against eatchother.
Gotta assume same numbers then ..or?

But event's, bigger evil and shuch could be arranged now and then ...no logistics short funny stuff then back to normal or such ...just get a underground network going and stay in shape as we r now kinda thing .
underground network.........sounds ebil....
Do you think we could put this on? From time to time we could put this network to work and show all Eve who runs the show...
You mean the tech II bpo holders?

Sorry... what's the difference between a pirate alliance and a normal alliance? The pirate alliance tries to ransom pods in fleet fights while their BS are getting blown up?
