I dont think I've had a single non deadspace mission since i started doing missions again.
Are they all deadspace now or just 95% of them ?

95%, tbh the non-deadspace missions are lot cooler then the Deadspace ones.
Deadspace is boring, repeative, time consuming, tactic limiting and uninspirational. ------------------

completely disagree with all points so far with one caveat.
recently i've actually noticed a big increase in % of mission that are non-DS.
i've been getting angel surprise, pirate campers, slave trader, blockade, beserk etc etc alot more often.
and i cant believe u think DS missions are more repetitive and tactically limiting than non DS. non-DS missions all u need to do is warp in at 100k and keep range while u pick off the rats before they get close. every one can be done like that.
whereas DS missions provide variety, some auto-aggro so u have to tank, some allow u to work at range but u then have to maneouvre into position, the multiple groups in DS means u have to plan your way around to ensure u dont aggro multiple groups.
theres far more variety in DS than non-DS so if anything they are less repetitive.
that being said i do prefer a mix as well but recently the missions seem to have been randomized better but maybe thats just been co-incidence.
my caveat is while this is true at lvl4 i'm not sure if its true at lower levels. i had to some lvl2s with my industry character to minimise station tax when refining and got 100% DS missions. so maybe there is less variety at different levels.

i thought it depends on the agent? i mentioned that i dislike DS and someone told me to get an agent that gives more non-ds . so maybe :D

Joshua: you forgot to mention that they are also tedious as all hell.

Pray tell how is this different that DS missions: Warp in. Crawl VERY SLOWLY out to 100k and then pick off the rats while keeping range. Every one can be done like that.

try doing silence informant area 1, angel extravaganza area 5, vengence area 2 or serpneti duo of death with a long range sniper setup. the auto aggro groups will toast u if u have no tank.

Why VERY SLOWLY?

I don't really mind the Deadspace so much...only difference really is they can force you to warp 5km from a huge fleet of ships.
One thing I don't like is how it limits ships that had grown and adapted to recieve a bonus to MWDs, such as the Thorax, and then have them be effectively nerfed with the exclusion of MWD's in Deadspace. I really wish there was some way for a Thorax to use a MWD in deadspace, since there is a good deal of risk associated with using it (with blasters).

i really cant see why people think non-DS missions are great and un-repetitive and its only the DS missions which are, when the DS missions actually provide more variety to missions.
My agent knows 3 diffrent DS Missions; Infested outposts, Infested Ruins and Vengeance. All of which i can now do with my eyes closed while AFK.
I get all of those atleast 3 times in a row, with 1 out of 10 missions being a normal space mission.
Quite unfortonate as theres a lot of cool non-deadspace missions such as Gone Berserk, Station Assault, The bloackade, the Navy armada who i never get anymore. Instead i get vengeance...again...for the 3rd freaking time after rejecting it twice...
Apart from that deadspace looks boring too, the first ones i ever saw where cool. Loads of interesting looking objects floating about. these days every Ds complex cotains the exact same objects that dont improve the mission at all, they simply reduce performance and get in your way.
Deadspace was created because NPC's where getting molested with Sniping tactics so CCP figured theyd force people to enter the mission at one exact spot and sometimes put npcs right there to prevent them from using sniper setups. "While were at it, instead of creating better npcs we should just drop 10 extra of them in a mission, that way itll look more difficult."
Yeah... Go Deadspace... ------------------

maybe its just luck but as i said above i have been noticing an increase in non-DS missions recently - been getting the missions u mention there and things like sabotage supply line and mordus alot more frequently.
i'm not saying all missions should be DS and fully accept point u make about mission variety, all i'm saying is having no DS missions would lead to same problem as u r suggesting but just in reverse.
