So you go for this:
Hi-Slots: 4x Medium Pulse Laser II Med-Slots: 1x 1MN Afterburner II Low-Slots: 1x Small Armor Repairer II 1x Thermic Hardener 1x Heat Sink II 2x Capacitor Power Relay I
Anyone here hunt in 0.0 with this ship here? Whats your setups? And what rats do you go against?
Active modules - I usually swap the HSII for an adaptive energised, just because the extra resists are nice. I may try with the HS2 next time I take it out though, the extra damage would be nice

For 0.0 hunting against sansha's
hi 4x med pulse II's Mid 1x AB Low 1x Sm Repper II 1x HSII 1x Passive Thermal Hardner 2x cap relays.
Don't have the CPU skills for an active hardner yet but have all gunnery/cap/space command skills at 4 or above.
I don't fight frigs in 0.0 due to the webbing etc. Any cruiser force or cruiser/BS force I wipe the floor with so far. Have solo'd 3x 75K devourers and 1x 750K BS (Lord I think) in a belt. takes a little while to knock the BS off but he comes down. I've noticed as my skills with the tech II gear have risen, the time it takes to knock them down gets faster. An average 75K devourer lasts less than 30 secs once I'm under 6K's on him and the 750K BS might last 2 mins if he is lucky.
I have a hauler in system at a safe spot to collect the loot after me as a typical 500K BS will drop 80m3 of loot and with 135m3 cargo bay it fills very quickly.
Secret is keep your traversal above 100m/s as you approach and they won't hit you. They will run away from you and do anything they can to reduce the traversal on you so they can hit so you have to very mindful of it or you will die and if you have these types hitting you regularly you will die in seconds. Don't just approach them, steer your retribution so that you keep traversal up.
A typical noob thing to do and I have done it and almost lost my ship was to warp in and know that you need to get under their guns so you just run for the closest ship and hug it. In 0.0 you will die if your more than 20K from them when you warp in. Be patient and approach as I said with greater than 100m/s traversal and you'll eventually get them. Might take 10 seconds longer but you'll survive and they will die... not the other way around.
Happy hunting.

Hows your cap with that lot? Does it all run forever?
Well, as stated above I haven't got any of the cap-skills, so - only the Med Pulse II,AB II and the hardener can run forever.
I know it's not "perfect" but good enough for the purpose of killing NPCs down to 0.1-systems.
I was just curious why one would fit a MAPC if everything seems to fit without maxed skills

...still a fitting-noob
Spot the n00b 4tw.
Anyhoo...that MAPC is supposed to be a Cap Relay.
I mixed up my setups....need the MAPC for a 200mm tungston setup.
My bad..... but to the question with that right fitting (cap relay you nub agama) the ship can tank for quite a while as the 2x HSII means the fights are over sooner.
Overall....I find the 2x HSII setup better then a plated retribution as the damage output is so much better.
