4 medium pulse II, 1 whatever 1 AB (preferably named - retribution has CPU issues) 1 Med Armour Rep II, 2 N-Type Hardners (i use thermal and kinetic as i fight mostly guristas), 2 CPR's
The n-types are essential since the retribution has lame CPU.
If your looking for a PvP setup, just fit all heatsinks in the lows and fly with a wingman in a ceptor to web/scramble anything..

4 dual light pulse II, 1 "knave" small nosferatu x5 web ammatar navy rep, ts pdu, 400mm rolled tungsten plates, energized adaptive nano membrane II, energized thermic membrane II
153,28/156,25 grid 74,32/75,25 cpu armor is 1956hp and res is 68 84 70 64
wait for the agression, 2 enemy frigs doesnt really matter, then kill them before they realize they are hurting, one medslot is just very sad so this ship really cant be of much use sadly. But against very confident opponents it can be god mode.

what dont make sense to me is this:
Amarr Frigate Skill Bonus: 10% reduction in Small Energy Turret cap use, 15% bonus to Shield and Armor Explosive resistance and 10% bonus to Shield and Armor Kinetic resistance per level
so with amarr level 5 you get bonus of 75% (15% per level) to explosive and 50% (10% per level) to kinetic, bring your resists from 60/80/62.5/35 to 60/95/81.25/35 just by getting into it?

But the RETRIBUTION has 15% explosive and 10% kinetic boost per level of armour for the frig skill it needs to get into the
thing. SO just getting into it gives you 75% more resist to explosive and 50% more resist to kinetic like the description
says?
why are both ships descriptions worded the same YET the atual bonus's are not given in the same way?

so why are the info's on both these examples the same, yet the bonus are treated differently?
this is for all assaults, according to the info they should all have higher resists when you get into them than when they are repackaged etc?
Can someone atually check this:
Base resits on SAC = 60/80/62.5/35 Resists by getting into it = 70/85/71.8/51.25
25% boost to all like the info said?
Base resists on Retri = 60/80/62.5/35 Resits by getting into it = 60/95/81.2/35
75% explosive and 50% kinetic boost like info said?

If thats the case then they need to add the new resists to ships like the SAC coz its resits only increase AFTER you get into it.... yet then other hacs like the zealot has hidden resists in resepct to the omen.....???
somethings out of line here... why are some bonus being treated differently on frigs than cruisers?

The armor bonus per level x5 is already included in stats. otherwise it would be .. kinda uber. lol. edit; wow.. lots of fast responses at downtime eh? nothin else to do.. i guess.

then the wording on assaults and hacs are all messed up.
zealot has higher resists than a omen, yet its not written in the info.
retribution has higher resists than punisher yet it IS written in the info.... but thats the point of assaults, natural higher resists...? so the info either needs clearing or the resits on all races assaults need boosting once you get into the ship LIKE the info says.
after all its not one rule for HACs and one for ASSAULTS?

do the same for omen > zealot and thingybob > SAC, wheres the info for them bonus's??? why is it different for assaults and hacs?

hacs high resists over tech 1 are auto-on there, and no info in bonus section about them, YET assaults resists over tech 1 are auto-on there, and there info shows these boosts... yet this needs removing to make them the same and atually give them anoher bonus LIKE hacs get over the tech 1 version..
DOES ANYONE SEE MY POINT!!!! lol

Pretty much what I NPC with, often leaving the spare high empty, T2 AB and a SMALL Rep II because I can't see any obvious way to fit a module with a 173MW grid requirement on a ship with 56MW base grid... Oh, and I use an active thermal and passive adaptive because I'm a cheapskate :P

Should do. I run the same setup but with Thermic I and Adaptive Nano I; latter T2 version has higher CPU needs but former N-Type has lower CPU needs so it probably balances out. You won't have grid problems afaik, anyway

The CPR and the Tracking Enhancer are only in there because I don't have the Enginnering-skills for cap (+recharge) and Motion Prediction is still at III 
I usually orbit the ships at 5500m (Multifrequency crystals).
It all fits without a MAPC (I'm just a miner, so my skills are really crappy in Gunnery and Engineering).

I use a second CPR and have decent cap skills but otherwise an identical setup active modules-wise and I can run indefinitely at about 50% cap. The hardner and rep stay on whenever I'm undocked, because it's safer and doesn't have any drawbacks.

The 'Refuge' gives you 15.36% to all resists for a whole 1pg and 0tf :D

Well, as stated above I haven't got any of the cap-skills, so - only the Med Pulse II,AB II and the hardener can run forever.
I know it's not "perfect" but good enough for the purpose of killing NPCs down to 0.1-systems.
I was just curious why one would fit a MAPC if everything seems to fit without maxed skills

anyway, if i was to hunt in 0.1 a crusader with duel light beams and ab and rep can run forever and hunt fine.
what i want is the hardcore 0.0 hunters who use this ship to post a setup and what rats you "kings among men" are attacking?

A 0.0 ratting setup you say?
4x T2 Med Pulse. Named/T2 Ab 2xCPR T2/Extruded Heatsink Energised Thermic Plating (Best you can find, I use Dark Blood) EM Plating (Best you can find) T2 Small Rep
Use Multis on just about everything but also carry X-Rays in case of Rat Inties.
This setup can handle just about all 0.0 Amarr-type rats, but as always in a frig, care must be taken when rat frigs are present as usually, webbed=dead.

I have 2 NPC setups, and 2 PVP. They are:
NPC 1:
Hi: 4 Med Pulse II Med: 1MN AB II Low: 1 Small Rep II, 1 N-Type Thermal Hardener, 1 Adaptive Nano II, 2 CPR's
NPC 2:
Hi: 4 Med Pulse II Med: 1MN AB II Low: 1 Small Rep II, 1 N-Type Thermal Hardener, 1 Heatsink II, 2 CPR's
PVP 1:
Hi: 4 Med Pulse II, Small "Ghoul" Nos Med: X-5 Web Low: 1 Small Rep II, 1 N-Type Thermal Hardener, 1 Adaptive Nano II, 2 CPR's
PVP 2:
Hi: 3 Med Pulse II, 2 Small "Ghoul" Nos Med: 1 X5 Web Low: 2 Small Rep II, 1 N-Type Thermal Hardener, 2 CPR's
The last one means if you get in web range, and get your nos on him you can run both Reps indefinately. Obviously you need someone else to scramble him.
