yeah, that is actually the issue here.

the rules:
Only kills made in low security space (0.1 to 0.4 systems) will count.
Only kills made after the server comes up on May 5th and before it goes down on May 6th will count.
All kills which adhere to these guidelines will count, regardless of the circumstances surrounding them.

if ccp had said their pods don't count, then that would be fair enough gg no re. but they said EVERYTHING counts. and then changed their mind.

Grarr has a point though lol, Fozzie is trolling hard here. Tbh, this is a great troll of CCP all-round because prior to the declaration no PL were poasting and everyone pretty much agreed it was bagged (i.e. were counting the ships/pods).

It's funny though, and the end rankings without CCP are kind of surprising (What were waffles doing, cleanup on the main PL fleet?).

But this is eve, where even the devs can be dicks haha

Had we won, it could have been a smut-related flag that had people laughing for an entire month as it waved next to the CCP flag. Now it's just a bacteriophage, a reference which will only ring a bell with 0.007% of the world's populace.

"King of Lowsec" is meaningless and I think CCP would benefit from staging competitions and titles that actually had some value the community at large.
