Hiya guys, I was wondering if anyone had a working current, decent solo c3 legion fit?
I know blah blah use a tengu. I've got one and I use it, but I like legions so I'd like to fly one :)
I did some googling and found this: legion fit but it's a few years old, would it still work today? How have the neut changes affected it? (is it still even possible to solo in a c3?)
Cheers in advance. |

Just design one in EFT. When it comes to t3s most people don't publish their best fits. Like I have a Loki fitting that gets about 500 DPS with 800 omni for around 700 mil, whereas most t3s I see cost almost twice that for similar effect...at least in the public fittings. Just play in EFT til you find something that works. This Space Intentionally Left Blank |

It is a little light on cap.
Yes it is still possible to solo C3 sites in a legion. And honestly it is about as fast as a solo tengu. |

Usually the Tengu is a little faster in most C3 sites. |

Well put it this way. I lived in a C3 for awhile with a RL friend of mine. I flew a Tengu, he flew a Legion. We would sometimes "race" sites just to see, and he'd been known to win sometimes.
The big key to success with a Legion is learning the sites spawn locations so you can be in the proper position for the new waves. Tengu by far is "easy mode" |

Ok, so feeling confident that I can do it in a legion then... how much tank should I be aiming for, then I can get to EFTing that much tank with as much gank as I can. |

How does the cap hold up in the Data sites? I've had no success in holding the field against the two neuting battleships. I use a similar fit you posted, accept all my rigs are t1, and I drop a heat sink for a regular t2 MAR. My primary MAR is a Corelum C-type. Do you think bumping the C-type to A, and using the t2 rigs would help me stay on field long enough to complete the site?

If you have access to a steady supply of Hammerhead IIs, use this:
2x Corelum C-type Medium Armor Repairer 2x Imperial Navy EANM 2x Drone Damage Amplifier II
Domination 100mn Afterburner 3x Cap Recharger II
3x Heavy Neutron Blaster II Salvager Tractor Beam Probe Launcher
Nanobot Accelerator II Auxiliary Nano Pump II Salvage Tackle II
Legion Offensive - Drone Synthesis Projector Legion Defensive - Nanobot Injector Legion Electronics - Emergent Locus Analyzer Legion Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix Legion Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
This runs everything except Forgotten Frontier Recursive Depot and Unsecured Frontier Database. The latter is not soloable in Amarr ships due to being very biased toward EM/Therm damage (which are Amarr's weak resists) and the former I'm pretty sure is not soloable at all, the last wave scrams and does 1400 DPS.
This fit is very high isk/hour as it lets you scan down the sites, then tractor/salvage the wrecks while you're running the site.
Also, you can probably drop an EANM for another drone mod in all the remaining sites that don't spawn Sleepless Upholders. Upholders do almost pure EM/Therm so you need extra resists to tank them. The rest of the BSes do mainly Exp/Kin damage which hits to your racial resists and are easy to tank.
I lose an average of one drone per site to the sleepers switching to them on the frig waves. You will probably lose a few more than that until you learn when you need to scoop and redeploy.
It's far more DPS than the 5 HP II fit. If you don't have skills for blasters, you can use HP IIs but blasters are way way better. The much better tracking lets you apply far more DPS to the frigs with Null and then you can switch to Void once just BS sleepers are left and pound them from really close in to break their tank that much faster. |

A cheap twin T2 MAR fit will work fine for C3 anoms where you need 55% cap stability.
For sites you'll need to bling your boat with an C or A type repper, or far more preferably have an alt boosting in another Legion. With that pair you can happily run any site in a C3, even the FFRD and UFD where the last spawns are indeed pretty nasty. The box said "Requires Windows-á2000 or better", so I installed Linux. |

I'd love to see how two Legions get a 1400 DPS EM/Therm tank for FFRD even counting being remote repped by another Legion. The sleepers will switch targets so both players need that tank.
Even if you have that 1400 DPS tank you're still in extreme danger of just getting gibbed by an unlucky series of wrecking shots. |

For C3, RiotRick's fit is the Gold Standard for WH Legion. I've used it with great success. Assuming all your required skills are level V of course. |
