The majority of Australian Gamers who play DUST picked it up via idly browsing the PSN Store, or playing EVE Online. Or then by word of mouth.
DUST 514 has a TV Spot almost ready to be aired later this year. And though I would have hoped, the fact is no gaming company has ever aired a TV Commercial for a Game in Australia or New Zealand.
I've seen plenty of game ads around Melbourne and on TV.
Tomb Raider on the side of a bus
Mass Effect 3 at a bus stop
Mass Effect 2 and 3, WoW, Assassins Creed 3, Call of Duty, Bioshock Infinite and more that I can't remember off the top of my head on TV

And even if I were inclined to have seen these myself (which I have not) does this mean CCP should NOT advertise in Australia? No.
In fact your allegations suppose that they should seriously look at it even more so.
So stop pointing out alleged holes in my post, and support the idea behind it. Advertising EVE and DUST 514 on Asutralian and New Zealand TV.
In answer, however, I have never seen a bus anywhere with Tomb Raider on the side, nor any of the other games you've mentioned. The only time I have personally seen Games advertising is a) the V Energy Drink Commercial I have mentioned above (which was about the drink, not the game) and on the window of a Gaming Internet Caf+¬.
Even then, I have not seen DUST 514 mentioned, nor EVE Online. |

I have personally always been in favor of as much exposure down under as possible... 
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Whilst i Still had a Facebook account, i was trying very hard to get GoodGame (MA) to do a spot on CCP, but so far have had no luck. I am starting to think that CCP refused GG Beta codes for DUST 514 .... :P
I don't think CCP could handle 500.000 simultaneously online anyway :P
