Large picture with names : here (1,36 Mo).
Hope I spelled all names correctly. I moved some ships in order to align texts and ships correctly. Minmatar Shuttle is missing.

ok, for our viewers with a desire for larger print
Ship Comparison Chart with big(er) name labels
now keep in mind that the chart is 4096 so even at the 36 point font it's not that big when looking at the whole image, but any larger would make the labels look VERY convoluted next to the ships so I compromised.
I think itÆs plenty big enough to do the job, and provided you arenÆt on a 15 inch monitor, it will likely be big enough for wallpaper and such to be able to read the labels without them interfering with the ships so much that itÆs hard to see them for the text (referring specifically to the already dwarfed frigates compared to their own labels).
If there is call for it, I can go even larger and make the labels visible from low orbit, but IÆll likely cut the frigates out completely or put them to one area in a smaller font while the other, larger, ships get the biggest font.

Vivus, maybe its just me but I think its your hosting shrinking the image. Even when you click to enlarge its only 1600 x 1250.
The other Sansha frigate is called "Sansha frigate 1" as as I know. The Sansha never had actual names before they made them available as faction ships whereas the Angel ships have been named since the beginning. That is to say, named flyable ships exist in the database that use the same models as the Angel ships.

There is a ship that looks like a Crusader or Malediction but uses Executioner coloring. You can see it on some NPC gate patrols, the Amarr Navy Sergeant I think. -==- Holy-Jim> as you know, surprise is the key to victory.....surprise! LooseCannoN> ahh! LooseCannoN> my plans have been foiled! |

well, sadly, Gigashare being the eternal hemorrhoids they are may be tinkering with the file regardless of its original formatting... I'll investigate alternative means of hosting it in 4096 scale, as indeed Gigashare is cutting the image down to 1600x1250
This is the new link at EVE-files
Ship Chart 4096 With Big Names
from my ôtestingö, they are hosting it at the full 1.6mb, as I canÆt download and directly open it with MS Photo editor as itÆs FAR too large (too many pixels), but Photoshop is ideally suited for such a large image.

I can't find the barges on the size chart. Have you forgotten them or am I just losing my sight?

"I can't find the barges on the size chart. Have you forgotten them or am I just losing my sight?"
I couldn't really include the barges, for the same reason there's no Amarr and Minmatar shuttle on the chart... rather than being a single model, they're built from a number of separate parts, which is something i can't import directly :/ i'll possibly try to assemble and add them at some point.
In better news, Lee N was extremely nice and kind enough to provide server to put the .png version of the full-size chart, which is up for grabs now here ^^

I hope you dont mind, but since im a (relatively inactive) forum member at Jeff Russell's Starship Dimensions, I've posted the png and jpg with large names versions for consideration. There has been a long standing thread about adding EVE ships (amongst other games ships) to the website, but never any real progress in getting some properly scaled images made.
Nice work

Awesome... simply awesome!
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. |

Wow... just wow. I can't believe I've only just seen this. All that's needed now is to put them to a DHTML page so you can move the individual ships around to compare, then it'll be perfect.
Good stuff!

wow, this s so making it's way to my desktop.
Any chance you could do a version with all the ship names?
I'd recommend the Silkscreen font - it's very readable without AA at very small sizes? http://www.kottke.org/plus/type/silkscreen/ =ASY=gav When I'm not mining in space, I'm driving shermans on Wake Island. |

Naglfar is a nice ship indeed, should be able to get around 70k armour on the beast if you got the complete slave implant set.

This is great.
Is there a chance for a repeat with a top-down perspective so we can see them from that angle? ==========

(just quick repost here, since the original is buried few pages deep in random thread in Videos section, and it's sort of relevant to ship and modules ;s
EVE ship size comparison chart, half-size (2048 pixels, for wallpapers and suchlike) [ .png version ] EVE ship size comparison chart, full size (4096 pixels, for detail nuts and people with good printers, i guess) [ .png version ]
(compiled using the in-game models; sizes might be not 100% accurate, if there's some additional scaling applied through the ship .blue files... still, thought it makes kinda interesting picture ;s
*hugs j0sephine*

"What is the Amarr frigate on the far right? It seems to go Cruicifire, Punisher, Executioner, Inquisitor, Tormentor, Executioner (again?), and ___ ."
That'd be Silver/Golden Magnate, limited edition Amarr ship handed out as prize in some events.
(the second 'Executioner' has slightly different shape btw, am guessing it's used for the tech.2 ships, or something... ^^;;
edit: doh, Diana beat me to it... ;s
That second executioner is the navy slicer.

I also would like full schematics of all ships, now that would rawk (but something for CCP to do obviously).
