Pessimism 4tw everyone
We don't know jack**** until Rebirth can be tested but it will obviously destroy Eve.

Hey look... instead of playing the clueless crybabies why don't we try to come up with some reasonable and precise thoughts on the functionality and consequences of Rebirth for the game we all love and then try to make something constructive out of it?

Sure did.
Originally by: Auman To limit abuse you've got to make it very very expensive which makes it a toy for the uber rich. Or if you make it cheap and accessible with a bit of planning anyone can "rebirth" a gank fleet into an alliance home systems.
Maybe I'm stupid... but how are you going to transport all the equipment, ships and whatever else you need into an enemy alliance's home sys? It's not like you can just "teleport" the entire fleet including ships, mods and ammo.

Yeah that's what they all say It's almost like two realities in Eve. The "forum reality" where everyone is 'uber rich' and gives ****oo about isk and the "ingame reality" where out of 50k+ accounts a mere thousand or so ever earned more than a billion... where people mysteriously vanish from fleet ops after loosing a few ships just after bragging about how much money they can make.
I agree with indirect implant insurance through Rebirth being a little too much, maybe, but other than that there is way too much personal perspective in your reasoning for my taste, Rod.
By the way... let's say you Rebirth somewhere four times a day or something and you loose four HACs... or six. Are you going to replace those in an instant aswell?
Quote: Moving stuff into an alliances home (this only goes for those regions with npc stations or the regions right nextdoor to them, which means 7 regions of 0.0 and all regions close to the stations in these 7 region, which means practically everything in 0.0 by all means.), is easy.
Then those NPC stations are the problem, not Rebirth. Prevent people from clonejumping to those systems. Problem solved.

And urmmm... where's the relation between Rebirth and instajumps?

He wasn't saying it, but he definately meant it. Read between the lines. Anyways. Serious camp, in a bs, you will die without instas. Either that or you don't even try jumping. There are situations where you are forced to either camp some safespot if you don't have instas or you log. Denying that is like denying men have ****s.

And the relationaship between Rebirth and instas is when Hilmar said Rebirth is part of the replacement for instas. That enough?
That's 1:0 for you. Still, where IJs really have an impact, which is in space at gates and stations, Rebirth hardly plays a role.
