The new Amarr T2 ships are so ugly now..
Why ruin perfect and beautiful design with this new **** brown thing?
I really fell in love with Amarr ships when I first saw them..
The red on golden colors on Amarr T2 ships looked so amazing...Just look at it -

Wow. This Absolution and Retribution-Skins are great. I like the design more then everything-is-gold&red. Also i think that the new Apocalypse design seems to be more inspired by this older skins then the actual ones. |

The old ones were filled with gold, shiny gold, because we Amarr were on top. Got it, flaunt it.
Then they added racing stripes to accomodate the youngster capsuleers that we were. That was our making.
Now we're at war and we can't be blinking out our ships just to look cool, or dignified. More metal means more brown(ish).

Im honestly waiting for a new Absolution/Prophecy skin. I have hated the stupid BIG FAT CHICKEN IN SPACE PEW PEW ship since I first lay eyes on it.
If they could just streamline the "beak" , I hate going out in a fat parrot painted green. ugh

Meh, I don't see why improved skins has to go hand in hand with washed out colors. Can't really speak for other factions as an Amarr purist, but I do miss the gold/crimson aesthetic of Carthum, and the Silver/Gold of Viziam. |

using a IPS LED monitor here, and ships like the Ark are simply amazing, dark copper themed with lighter golden colors, If you people find it similar to your poopies I sugest seeking medical service or buying a new monitor because those ships look great |

As has been said before:
1: They aren't brown, fix your settings.
2: Different corps/houses will have different color schemes. You are only seeing what will be the "basic" version of the ship, it will also be available in the glittery gold colors now associated with other houses (mostly noble), as well as a myriad of other color schemes.
3: When the new lighting effects are incorporated things will look different yet again.
To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

I hesitate to raise this point, but it seems CCP forgot industry even when it comes to nerfing the colours, the Ark is still red, and now she remains one of the best looking ships in game.
Bring back colour differentiation, how am I supposed to insult ugly brown rusty Minmatar ships when our own ships are filthy brown?
But I suppose that would involve some knowledge and application of lore and when it comes to EvE you are not allowed to rp, its a dirty word. |

I'm actually fine with the 'gold' being toned down, but given that the skins are literally, even from an in game perspective, purely aesthetic, I would like to see the other colors stand out more. Gimme back my blood red Carthum and Platinum Viziam. |

Your new temporary Paladin actually has the wrong shaders applied on the test server. If the Carthum ships used that color scheme I doubt there would be anyone complaining. It will most likely be changed to the more brownred and wheat color when they fix it before it goes live. |
