Today, august 2nd, marks a milestone in the history of BIG.
It's our 1 year anniversary!
We have been around for a long long time now, we have endured having to rebuild the corp from scratch every beta phase and finally in release.
We have endured the numerous bugs (sometimes swiping out entire corp hangars - anyone still remember that one  ).
We have endured (and are still) the growing pains of EVE as a game.
But during all this 'enduring', we've had a blast, and we are *still* having a blast.
Having fun is what BIG is all about - and I think it's the main contributing factor to our survival and success.
1 year is a long time.....
Many corps have come and gone, but only a handfull or so remains, that have survived long enough to celebrate thier 1 year anniversary.
BIG has done it, and is proud of it, but while bathing in our celebrations, we would also like to congratulate the few other corps who have managed to 'stick with it' for as long (or longer).
During the month of august we plan to celebrate our own anniversary by giving a bit back to our fellow EVEians, without whom it surely would be a boring place  .

Congrats, Big! Thats quite an achievement.
Oberons aniversary is coming up sometime soon as well. We will have to take notes at you anversary party.
