So the magizine interveiw with Eve's senior producer.
Within it was a mention of a huge arrea of effect weapon on the titans!
Which may one day kill planets!
I like it!

Somewhat more seriously, this would be very nice - so long as they don't overdo it, it's the dreads that are meant to be anti POS, if the titan can just warp in and nuke anything within 50KM of the POS in one shot...well...

Think of it like the Battle over Yavin IV from a New Hope. There's a big ass death-star, charging it's big laser, preparing to whoop the moon, and a fleet of ships battling it out, trying to kill the death-star before it fires.
I see it like this - a big, one shot gun that takes forever to charge up. The article also said it'd possibly be a manual aim job, and you just select an area of space to pawn.
But they didn't say anything about destroying planets... yet...

Don't see what the problem is, clearing a planet of unprotected targets vs destroying a ship designed to take one hell of a punishment.

For it to be any good though - the uber weapon needs the sound the death star makes when firing in Star Wars, that low droning sounds as the laser fires :D and should be audible for a 100km radius
So when you hear it you go OMFGWTFBBQ!!!!1111 and then die :)
