Ok here was the deal, was at a gate and this rax warped in ofc.. iam not gonna shoot it in my ishkur... but oh well why not lol?... then i realise i dont have any light drones in ma bay, so.. i go to the station and realise.. why am i gonna fight him ill lose ( i said in local i might win), so i didnt take the chance, took out ma rax and jumped in... began engaging him my armor was at like 65% and then he stopped engaging...
jumped back into the +sec system and then the local crap came.. oh you noob, lame, ***** etc etc etc etc ( not the words but that kinda idea ).
So if i did something wrong by eve standards please tell me

Well, as long as you two didn't agree to a specific Ishkur vs. Thorax duel it's OK. You broke no unspoken rules, and he is just another someone who doesn't know how to lose.

So you attacked someone, found yourself half equipped, warped out, got a bigger ship, and then lost to him?
Or did he stop engaging because you were winning? O_o

correct up to the part where i lost and yes he stopped engaging but the fight was kinda even when he did?

The other guy stopped engaging so he could get through the gate because Jatonix was winning. Or at least that is how I understand it...

He thought the duel was ishkur v Thorax. he might not have agreed Thorax v Thorax. From where I am, you kind of broke the rules, unless you hadn't engaged until you went and got your thorax and he didn't know you were in an ishkur in the first place

It is difficult to tell through the writing, but I think it wasn't an agreed upon duel. sounds more like jsut a PvP encounter.

At the end of the day we all play EvE to win, if that meant going in a battleship then so be it. So long as the fight was not pre planned then your entitled to fight in whatever you like in my opinion.

Don't you know that a fair fight against an idiot is considered griefing? Taking advantage of the fact that you have a better ship nearby is _clearly_ cheating. Therefore you must engage idiots in your pod, a shuttle, or a tech 1 frigate (only if they're in a t2 ship, otherwise it's unfair).
Do not argue with idiots. They will only drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience.
