Anyone else think drones should be universal and not just a gallente toy?
i mean yea there are some ships the other races have that are drone carriers - i just wish that were more and t2 varients.
Hybrid aint exactly crap, most if not all gallente ships get a hybrid dmg bonus - and then the drones on top.
Amarr ships always have the -10% energy laser bonus - aint exactly a super bonus why cant they get bigger drone bay on some of there ships?
im amarr specialised and i dont really wana ruin that by training gallente just becus i love drones. i mean the t2 heavies really hurt.

ok fair shout, but mebbie a tier 3 drone carrier battleship for each race, and the gallente can well have like a giant drone? j\k
its painfully obvious they a gallente toy.
I really like drones would like to see some drone bonuses even a larger drone bay on some ships, for example it would be awesome if the sacrilege was more of a drone carrier?

I think if the gallente ppl got a tier 3 BS that was basically the supreme drone parasite that could launch spider drones, you wouldnt have any complaints :P

All BSes have a minimum of 150m3 drone bay. That's nothing to shake a stick at, with 6 heavies, or a combo of heavies and mediums.
Then there's the aforementioned Geddon, with 250 and the Phoon with 350m3. That's the second biggest drone bay in the game, even larger than a Thron's, and the Geddon is equal to a Thron.
I don't see how the other races are getting the shaft, drone-wise. Maybe they could do with more drone carriers for cruisers, but that's about it.

I want universal missles Mr thread starter.
I have 0 in missles at the moment. But just over 1/3 of all my SP's are in drones.
Just wait till the next expo. Retriever and armor repper drones. Jesus, Im ****ing just imaging having my puppies getting all my cans instead of my 160m/s dom putting around grabbing them.

You may love drones but i'd love to never have to refill my ammo..never having to refill ammos hould be universal...

at ;east amarr ships do get some love.
stand by for imcoming caldari whine
you have the geddon 250m^3, the arbtrator with whatever its drone bay is, cbs to check now.
we caldaro ont he other hand, have no outstanding drone ships, no drone frigs, no drone cruisers and no drone bs with a bay larger then some cruisers.
Not really fair is it

Another BFS, which is planned to use X-Large drones, be in a fleet combat support role and it's special abilities be of the support and drone class. Will also feature Jumpdrive propulsion.

As a couple of people pointed out, all the BSes have enough drone room to keep it fairly even, and so all that people seem to be complaining about is the lack of a drone cruiser for the other races.
What you seem to be forgetting is that drones are meant to be the gallante secondary weapon system. Considering our near universal lack of missile slots, fitting out a cruiser with medium guns (ie the ones its meant to use) leaves you completely defenceless against frigates. This is why we get the drones, and also why Ammar gets a fair few of them , since their racial primary weapon dosn't work against everything.

Good one, while we are at it go a and make a new thread for Universal races! yep that should fix it, lets make everyone the same no unique value for being Amarr, Minmatar, Gallente or Caldari. Glad to know your not a dev!

Not me. All the races have their toys.
Us Gallente have the drones, you caldari have the missiles and shields, the Amarr have lots of gleaming armorplates and nice shiny twinkle weapons and the Minmatar....... hmmm, well, i don't know what the Minmatar have, maybe lots of junkyards??

Whoa whoa whoa whats with the attitude. im entitled to my opinion theres no need to be hostile jeez.
the sacrilege as everyone thinks is kinda crap same with a caldari hac's, perhaps a complete different class of ship (not carrier) summin smaller for drones and each race could have one.
im not saying change the battleships id like to see a t2 varient of the arbitrator tho.

All your asking for is an ishtar with a different model really. Im sure you can come up with some decent outfits for what you can already fly, and re-training for gallante HAC isn't too brutal .. maybe two months at most with decent attribs. Suck it up.

A good thing about EVE is the diversity, flexibility and the devs constant tweaking to maintain balance without ruining the afore mentioned. Thus, I say drones should remain a strictly Gallentean strength, where the others merely dabble in it.
For the same reason I do not wish to see a very good Gallentean missile boat, a perfect Caldari armour tanker, nor a fast and sleek Amarrian ship.
Also, take this path, and at the end of it there is but one ship. That is the extreme, yet still a possibility.

I see where you are going but its not a good idea really. One thing about eve is that each race is different.
Caldari
Best at missiles and very good at electronic warfare they even have a cruiser and battleship thats pure EW.
Gilent
Predominatly hybrid useres just like caldari there ship bonuses point the way skills for hybreid guns andf they are the race that uses drones the most
Mimitar
These guys are all about speed and long range shooting
Amarr
well what can i say Armourtanking and lasers.
Its all about making all the races operate differently, If ccp caved in and made all races good with drones then where will it stop..... Well next stage is gilent will demand more missiles or a enhaced cap so they can use lasers more or why not give gilent a standars projectile rate of fire bonus theat way we can use projectiles on a megathron.
Iknow you are feeling left out with the upcomming drone loving comming up such as the armour repairer drones and the shield fixer drones but thats no reason why you cant train to fly a megathron too

Well a good secondary wepon for amarr could be a new kind of crystall that does kinetic or explosive damage. Or make them Vampire gods 
For mimitar id say they a;ready have a secondary wepon in missiles.
Personally i cant wait for drone loving to come up for too long drones have been largly unchanged.

and if all ships had a variant with the same qty of drones, could all fit 7-8 highslot guns, could all armour tank/shield tank nearly the same, what exactly would the point of each different races ships be exactly.
They would all end up nearly perfect copies of one another with different looks.
