Dominix
Many people will complain that it's ugly, but I guess I flew it so much that I really learned to appreciate its looks. The two little exhausts on the back have the same charm as the wings on an old cadillac, and I imagine that the round cilinder in the middle of the ship is some kind of a mean drone factory. I like how gun hardpoints are positioned around it. And it has a little bridge on top! It's cute.
With drones being probably the most versatile weapon system out there, it makes it possible to fit a Dominix in a thousand different ways - and all fits work. PVP, PVE, RR, sniping, brawling, neut, shield tank, armor tank....and the sugar on top - it's probably the cheapest battleship you can buy... |

A lot of this is for historical reasons.
- Breacher: My favorite PVP frigate waaaay back in the day has been revamped and is now a contender again.
- Ares: Back when interceptors were new and expensive, my corp had a BPO for this ship. I got them cheap and developed tactics that let me chew through other interceptors like popcorn.
- Claw: Eventually replaced the Ares as my go-to interceptor. Fast, tough, and put out a crazy amount of damage. Best memories: Taking on a Zealot when Zealots were new. I got in under his guns and was getting him into low armor when he called in a friend in a Stabber to kill me. I fled, the Stabber pursued, I ended up getting in under the Stabbers guns and killed it, but the Zealot had gotten away.
- Taranis: Eventually replaced the Claw as my go-to interceptor. Fast, tough, and put out an even crazier amount of damage. Best memories: Taking out (in separate fights) a Thorax and a Drake with a hull-tanked neutron gankaranis.
- Thorax: My first real love in a cruiser, used mainly either as a hull-tanked gankacruiser or a massively armor tanked "surprise!" ship with frigate guns.Best memories: in the "surprise!" loadout, once took on 5 frigates (mix of t1, inties and AFs) simultaneously and destroyed 4 of them (the 5th warped away). The same ship later killed a Prophecy in a 1v1.
- Megathron: The Plated Neutron Gankathron. Best memories: I once MWDed 60km to an Armageddon on SiSi in one of these things and killed it before I ran out of armor.
- Ashimmu: I've only rarely used an Ashimmu in combat, but I always feel like Reavers when I do.

Vindi for me. Megathron hull is sexy and I always wanted a Kronos, a mean machine. However, Vindi is better in every way so it became my favourite. |

Typhoon and Fire tail and jaguar. For all my PvE needs the typhoon will find a way. For all my Pvp solo the fire tail is great, and in fleets the jag works as a "heavy fire tail". This Space Intentionally Left Blank |

I have fun in the Gallente drone boats too! The Vindicator looks awesome but I spend far more time in the Navy Dom.
My Achura pretty much lives in her force recon ship, and I really should get this character trained up for a Falcon since I love this ship. Although force recon ships are mainly used for tackling and offense I use it to zip around the universe unseen. Have alignment down to 0.2700 (which is a bit higher than my Viator 2.2?) and HP and sig also fairly close to my Viators stats. The final results is a ship that is almost as slippery as a blockade runner, but with drones, ECM and guns for minor enemies. |

I prefer the Vagabond - i feel like sitting in an really dangerous ship - it makes me feel like a bad-ass pirate. The ship design ist made for very fast encounters and spreading solo fear all over the place.
At least i like Assault frigs and covert-op frigs just for traveling long routes solo. I prefer the Anathema - Bobba Fett looking - style. And the Jaguar - Rupture.
I have to say, that i love all those ships wich are surviving over a longer period. uh and i name them like pornstars. The frigs are all called MS Lexi Belle and the bigger sized random sometimes MS Sasha Grey - sometimes other names |

Cable Udan wrote:The Vengeance by far. It's one of the most tankiest frigate-sized hulls in the game and since the v3 shaders were released it just oozes lethality. The rehash of launcher animations only compounded how sleek and deadly this ship is. I name mine Electron Blue, in memory of Taurean Eltanin, who no longer has the time to play Eve and is the guy who inspired me to jump immediately into a life of piracy when I started playing Eve.
This,
Taurean's blog is what inspired me to start playing Eve. I even started my own Punisher plan.
For this and the fact that it's such a damn good-looking ship, I choose the Vengeance annd it's counterpart, the Retribution.
I also have a soft spot for the Stabber Fleet Issue. Don't Panic.

Hard to say, there are many that I like.
Cruiser sized it's probably the Stabber Fleet Issue - looks cool, amazingly tough. I always liked the Caracal too, but then it was my first cruiser.
Battlecruiser: Definitely the Drake. Again, it was first BC, and despite having flown a number of others it's still the one I like best. It's not a pretty as the Prophecy (greedy pigeon), or as cool looking as the Naga (giant tuning fork of doom), but it's as tough as old boots and brings a fair bit of pain.
Battleship: Well, I love my Fleet Issue Typhoon for it looks (its ugly, but it's a cool ugly), its versatility, and its surprising speed. I also like the Rokh a great deal - it really looks like a battleship (a massive block of defence with rows of guns), but I find its weapons lack authority these days - there are better blaster platforms and the blaster firing sound effects sound weak to me, and as a sniper, well who cares if you out-range everyone when going out past about 120km just mean you get a fleet dropped in your lap? I miss sniping from just on grid in a great big brick.

Nightmare. The old one. The one with lasers, missiles, and armor because the combination was just plain awesome to me, and I still like the idea of it. The new nightmare is nice too, don't get me wrong, but on several levels I wish CCP had had their split weapon balance brainstorm years ago before the pirate ship patch. Seeing 6/6 turret/launcher hardpoints with a 50% cap reduction role bonus at 10%/level bonuses to laser and missile damage would have been great. Still, the current tachyonightmare's nothing to sneeze at either. |

While i've not flown one in forever, - Freighters or anything really, that travel at sub 1au/s.
The slower it is to traverse a single system from one celestial to another, or gate for that matter, - the greater the perception of size and astronomic scale to the distances traveled. Something easily missed if you get used to high AU/s travel speeds. |
