That's cause amarr AFs get hit harder than the others by having one fake bonus. The necessary cap use for guns bonus leaves only 2 real bonuses to play with, thats the same amount of bonuses all other races frigs get at t1 level.
And, yes to a missile hawk.
1 mid might also have something to do with it
The Vengeance is just a pos, there are multiple t1 frigs that can outdamage this assault frigate.

Vengeance needs another low or med (i'd prefer med actually) and then either a bonus to help it's damage or a major mass and reduction or speed boost. Make it like as fast as a jaguar, or atleast wolf.

agreed. with cap bonus though - vengeance is one of the few frigs that can run a multi-spec indefinatley while still having enough slot to scramble and web... othere then that there isn't much though (just trying to throw in bone).
would love to see 1 more mid on jag as well... as much as love jag - boost the vengeance first...

Id love it is they swapped the utility for a med... damn i hate that 5th high, its just there to mock me, i know it. Oh how id love to drop the micro smartbomb ive got there >_>;
I must admit it tanks well, so its nice for npcing, but thats not saying much.
They could take a good hard look at AFs, i think its high time they did that now.
Stop pretending the assault reistances are a bonus, give the missing slots to the ships that have only 10, drop a high for a mid on retri, missile hawk, resistance bonus like punisher on vengeance instead of recharge, hawk res bonus instead of boost like merlin mk2, and for gods sake a little more fitting on the wolf - 250mm howies are not an option, they suck far too much.

Absolutely not.
Well, maybe some want that, but it would be wrong.
What Caldari pilots would like to have is ships focused on one weaponry type with (eventually) a secondary weaponry type, like everybody else, instead of the 'do it all but none well' they have now.
The Hawk should be 4 highs, 4 missiles 1 turret with bonuses to missiles only.

Who the hell said that? I was talkign about the Hawk, not "all caldari ships". Please read more carefully.
